Harriman State Park

Overview

The Harriman State Park is located in the bustling state of New York and is an ideal spot to get away from all the hustle and bustle of big city life. Campers can look for to some of the most pristine, untouched camping spaces in the state and plenty of peace and quiet to truly enjoy it all.

Activities and Amenities

The park enjoys 31 lakes and reservoirs, 2 beaches and 200 miles of hiking trails so if you're a nature enthusiast, you're sure to fall in love with the scenery and opportunities for fun like hiking, biking, sunset viewing and even activities like ice fishing, cross country skiing and ice skating. There are also playing fields and picnic tables for group play and of course plenty of coastline to enjoy east coast swimming. Amenities at the park include: boat rentals, boat launches, tent sites, a visitor center, showers, grills and a gift shop.

Attractions

Just beyond the park are a number of fun local attractions, including: West Point Museum, Doodle Town, the Perkins Memorial Tower, The Great Jack-O-Lantern Blaze, New Croton Dam, Paramount Hudson Valley and the Stony Point Battlefield Lighthouse.
