Happy Hills Family Campground

We spent the weekend here in early March with a 38 foot TT. Arrived behind a large class A and were greeted by a friendly young lady in the neat, clean and well stocked office/store. For 38 dollars per night we were directed to a pull through 30 amp FHU site with cable TV. Our rig and the class A had no problem driving around the loop past permanent sites to our campsites. Hookups are centrally located in the sites and we had no difficulty with any utilities so early in the season. The pool was closed so we could not give that a review, but from the appearance of the facility all appears to be well maintained. At the top of the hill is a stable and trail access downhill to the C&O canal towpath and the paved Western Maryland Rail Trail, 2 excellent rides by bicycle along the Potomac River. Seavolt Road takes you to the trails if you opt not to use the trail from the campground. We are planning a return trip here. - Review provided by RV Park Recommendations & Reviews Facebook Group
