Gettysburg / Battlefield KOA

I was surprised there was no review. I have camped extensively in Gettysburg but never have been here but it was highly recommended. Owner operated. Not a corporate CG. Check in was easy. Escorted to site. Well landscaped and trees everywhere but did not reduce site usage. Campfire pits were stone and very utile. Not an expansive CG but it had a big CG feel. The pool was open and clean. The office/store was clean and well stocked. A variety of outside game tables, people size chess game, a well done fenced dog playgrou.nd and although the miniature golf layout was not exciting it was still challenging. Activities for all ages. Great support for a local charity that everyone knew about and proceeds from a number of raffles and functions went to that. The 50/50 won a happy camper $250. Sunday morning pancake breakfast was inexpensive and tasty. There was obviously a lot of ongoing positive upgrading going on. Stone patios being installed on Deluxe sites. No power issues. Many cable channels. There was a staff member still riding around at midnight checking on things.
