We came in late in the dark with our small camper and only stayed one night. Pictures very deceiving on website as everything is very run down and not kept up. Bathroom showers missing two out of three locks in women's bathroom. Missing shower head in men's. Showers were lukewarm at best. In its prime it probably was a great park but long term campers make it look dumpy. One could never play mini-golf as it is though the picture online shows it like you could.

Fairly run down. Playground was not usable. About half of the camp sites had full time residents with a mix of adhoc insulation and fences around the campers. Store staff was very nice. Looks like it was a very nice place 10 years ago.

We stayed at the campground for two nights. I agree with many of the other campers. The photos are a bit deceiving as that really doesn't look realistic. Of course we were there very early spring so nothing was green. Many what appears to be permanent residents. Really needs cleaning up and some upgrades. VERY unlevel sites. Small C-Store, gas and few other amenities. Very pleasant staff and in close proximity to the RV dealership up the street. They have a terrific RV supply and equipment selection also. Very quiet and peaceful.

super friendly staff, nice convenience store with necessities and love the Hunt Bros pizza made to order. Lots of full-timers who need to clean their sites. The spaces need to have more gravel and leveled.

Nice quiet place with trees. Friendly staff. No store or groceries nearby though. But nice.

We had a very good weekend at the campground. I agree with other commenters about the full time campers needing to clean up. It does detract from the overall feel of the camp site. Staff was super friendly, pizza was very good and pool was nice.

It was ok for one night. Most of the sites were being used for full timers & those were the nicer sites. Could definitely use some upgrades and cleaning up..

The staff at check in were very friendly and worked to find us a spot with a little shade (had a issues with our rv). As for park, it could really use some TLC - several instances of things that just look run down and in need of repair. For a quick, one-night stop over, it worked fine, but could not honestry rate any higher than 3 stars despite the nice staff.

Pictures and other reviews can be a little deceiving. If you just need to stop for the night it is acceptable. The park could use some work. There are quit a few full time park residents. This in itself is not a problem, but the park does not appear to enforce any time of appearance rules. Some of the sites are cluttered and trashy. All of this is surprising since the park is connected with an RV dealer of the same name. The RV dealer, their facility and service is very good.

Campground Response

Thank you, Ron, for your fair description - we know that we have room for improvement and are working on enforcing our full-time site policies. We hope that should you be this way again, you will notice a difference for the better as it is our goal this summer to get neat and clean, and stay that way!

Country atmosphere, & friendly staff, with some kid friendly activities, including a pool & playground. Full hook up sites are pull-throughs with water, electricity, sewer, cable TV and free Wi-Fi. Paved roads, graveled sites. Clean laundry, & restrooms. - Review provided by RV Park Recommendations & Reviews Facebook Group
