If you are looking a clean and peaceful place to relax, watch wildlife and enjoy the outdoors you have found it!  We are located on a scenic byway 20 miles south of Salmon, Idaho with lots of fresh air.  It is not unusual to see eagles, bighorn sheep, deer and elk from the park.  Many of our guests enjoy sitting in the sun or under one of our large shade trees with their spotting glass, as you never know what you may see!

Free Wifi, strong AT&T/Verizon cell reception at our park.

Elk Bend RV Park is located just south of Salmon, ID on one of the most scenic drives in the western United States. Elk Bend is famous for its wildlife, you can see eagles, deer, big horn sheep, and mountain goats around the area and along the river.  You can also wake up to a fabulous view with elk and big horn sheep grazing on the mountain hillsides.  The river is just across the street and is great for floating and fly fishing.  The famous Goldbug Hot Springs Trailhead is a short drive (1.3 miles) then a 2-mile hike away. Campers can look forward to a number of great attractions just beyond the campground including the Lewis and Clark Trail, Lemhi County Historical Society & Museum, Sacajawea Interpretive, Cultural & Educational Center and the Salmon-Challis National Forest. Decent place to stay, nice site, good utilities, but you are right next to your neighbor. In the open with no trees to speak of, we were on a stoned site. Road noise. Owners very friendly and helpful.

Great hosts and great park. Peaceful and quiet with warm hospitality and all the amenities we needed. Love the location, esp if you’re going to hike to the hot springs (which is def worth the effort).
