El Vado Lake State Park

Overview

El Vado Lake is located in New Mexico and is a popular spot for outdoor enthusiasts. Be sure to bring your reel for excellent trout and salmon fishing, swimming and boating at over 7,000 feet up. Campers enjoy this sit particularly for its fresh, crisp air and gorgeous views of the valley below. Its also great for hiking and mountain biking so don't miss out on that as well as the winter sports made popular by the mountains slopes. Look forward to snow boarding, skiing and sledding, and on those clear, New Mexico nights, expect a spectacular opportunity to stargaze. 

There's a number of different campgrounds at this park, all with different facilities, so call ahead if you can!
