Great camping experience! Spacious, very clean, updated bathrooms. Nice level lots on hillside. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Gravel road could use some work. Have reservation and will be back in July!

The campground is awesome. So is the fishing. In fact, I out-fished my boyfriend on the last day of our trip. The entire staff is very courteous and friendly. We used the Survivor Island site. Totally amazing. We are so looking forward to our next trip. Anyone who enjoys camping and fishing should try this campground. They will not be disappointed.

This was our first time at Cross Creek. It was amazing. In fact, it was the first time that a staff member delivered firewood and ice to our site. Simply amazing. The staff and owners are extremely courteous and professional. We are looking forward to our next trip.

Our family enjoyed our stay at cross creek. We had the boathouse and the survivor island. I love fishing and there is lots to do for everyone. The cabin was very clean . It was the right place for my family.

Our family had a great time there. The owners and staff were great and very helpful. They kept the place super clean and they had a lot of activities to do. The only complaint would be that they are in a valley and if you were pulling a big camper it can be a little bit of a struggle to get up and down the two hills on the gravel road. But If you are an experienced driver you should be okay. But I would recommend this place to anyone and we are looking forward to our next visit.

We pulled in and was greeted by a great guy. He called the office and said I’ve got a camper here where does he go. The immediately called back, he guided me to our pad and assisted me in backing up. This place was very nice and the people are so nice. We will be for sure returning really soon

Staff was all so very friendly, everything was really clean and nice. Sites are really close to one another so not much in the way of privacy but everyone was pleasant. We had a great time!

It's a great camp ground with lots to do. Fishing, swimming, mini gokf, paddle boats, kayak. I would HIGHLY suggest that you look at the country road leading into the park. Very steep and lots of water run off. If hauling a camper or 5th wheel you need a strong truck engine or you will have issues. Make sure you ck. That out 1st.

We stayed in the shady oak cabin. The cabin was clean and the staff was friendly. The road to the campground was gravel and in pretty bad shape, but they did work on it before we left.

Very clean and spacious shower house. Friendly and helpful owners. Lots for the kids to do and neat little pond. We didn't catch anything there but the kids had fun. The pool wasn't open yet when we were there but a very nice option in the summer. Crazy road getting there and large hill to get to the campground from the lake, so bring your muscles and good driving skills, but that's part of the adventure! Nice secluded area, but close to everything, including the Bagnell Dam. Had a nice time. Thank you!

We enjoyed our stay at Cross Creek. The hosts were all very friendly. A lot for kids to do if you bring your family. Sites were spacious and clean. My only negative comment would be the steep hill and rough dirt road to get to the park, but other than that, it was great!

We stayed at Cross Creek for 2 nights while passing through on our way back from St Louis to Florida. We really enjoyed it and loved our site looking out onto the small lake! We didn’t have a lot of luck fishing, but still had fun! The owners and employees could not have been nicer— they were all so incredibly friendly and helpful! We would definitely recommend Cross Creek if you are in this area!!!!!

Campground Response

Gerald, Thank you for staying at Cross Creek RV Park for your vacation as one of your stops. It was a pleasure to meet your wonderful family. Safe travels.

We stayed at RV lot #53. We had such a great time. The owners went out of there way to ensure our stay went well. We fished in there big pond, I caught a 10 ft Bluegill and saw a 2 headed albino turtle. We even saw starlink fly over. Even without the mythological fish and turtle. Best time ever!!! Give Mimi the duck out best wishes.

Campground Response

Adam- Thank you for the 5-star review. Glad your family had such a great time.

We had a wonderful time. The folks running the park were extremely friendly and the sites were clean. We ended up having a flat tire on our camper and folks showed up out of the woodwork offering help and tools if needed. Our 10 year old son fished the entire weekend and said it was one of his favorite trips. All around very enjoyable and everyone was super accommodating.

Campground Response

David- Thank you for the wonderful review. We have the best group of people here at our park, always ready to help lend a hand! So happy your son had a blast. We do hope to see your group again soon.
