Great little place nestled back off the main roads. We've never met friendly hosts, anywhere. They had a bunch of Halloween activities for the whole family. A truly family friendly and quiet place. We absolutely loved it.

Peggy Youtz

Fun place, great cabin and rv spots. They had a fun Halloween trick or treating time in the park and our grandsons loved it.

We chose to come on a weekend that turned out to be cold and rainy, but we still had a great time. The campground is set back in the woods (Road is a bit rough) by a lake. They were having a fall festival with bonfire, pumpkin decorating and Trick or treating. The owners were very friendly and accommodating. They went out of their way to make sure you had what you needed. The campground is close to Bagnell Dam and lots of other activities! Great place to come to!

The only reason for being a 4 star, getting to this site was a little rocky (due to the gravel road), but once into the campground, it was a great place to stay for a the few days we were there. The hosts were awesome, (even though being Nebraska Football fans....Go Buckeyes). They were both more than happy to accommodate us with local information on places to go and things to do. The town is only a few miles away with nice places to go and watch a ball game and get some adult beverages. If you need groceries or any other items for your trip, the next town over has it all (under 5 miles). Definitely on my list to stop back in, if not for the lake view, just to brag about how my Ohio State Buckeyes crushed Nebraska again this year!

Really friendly, super nice owners. They had most facilities that you’d need. However no WiFi or cable TV were available. The road to get to the campground is long, hilly and bumpy gravel. But once there it’s secluded and woodsy. We were there in fall, so pool was closed, and mini golf was strewn with leaves, which led to an unkept look. There’s a little fishing lake. Much of the park is dedicated to seasonal campers.

Great campground with lots of amenities. The hosts were wonderful and do everything they can to make your visit memorable.

This was a pretty nice campground. The road getting into it was less than desirable. It was a very very steep road full of potholes. The owner said they were getting ready to work on smoothing it out. Getting out was a bit of a challenge going back up the hill. We met a flat bed semi going down as we were trying to go up and had to get off to the side. All of the sites except 61-64 are up another very steep hill. 61-64 are at the bottom of the campground next to the lake. We stayed in 64 and it was by far the best on in the entire campsite. The lake was nice to sit by and relax. The owners are very very nice and did everything they could to make the stay enjoyable. We did not use the showers or the restrooms so I'm not sure what they were like. All in all a decent place to stay. Just stay in the bottom 4 sites if possible unless you like going up the steep hill. We will go back if we can get in those four sites.

While this campground is a bit off the beaten path, the setting is beautiful and the campground clean, comfortable and well-run. We were lucky enough to book lakeside sites, which were wonderful. It is a short drive to all the tourist activities at Lake of the Ozarks, and a quiet and beautiful spot to camp.

We spent 2 days and nights at Cross Creek RV Park with 2 of our grandsons, aged 7 and 10. All of us loved it. The staff was exceptionally nice and the place was clean and well kept up. I can completely recommend this park for anyone interested in RV or cabin camping in the central Missouri area near Lake of the Ozarks.

Place was quiet and very relaxing!! Had a beautiful view as we opened our camper door looking right out over a small lake/pond. The only thing is the road coming in/out is bumpy and has some areas of wash out. Need to be very careful!!!

Nice overall place. Very friendly environment. We have a 32ft. Motor home, and our site was very roomy. Majority of campers are seasonal, but plenty of room for travelers. Will definitely come back.

My family and I had a great time at Cross Creek. Very friendly and helpful staff thank you again Steve and Shelly. Nice clean shower house. Full hook up sites. The roads leading to the camp site are not that great but we managed to make it no problem.

This was a very nice and quiet park. The camp hosts and owners were very friendly and helpful. Everything worked just as it should and the restroom and bath houses were very clean. The only reason I didn't give it five stars was because of the one point three miles of dirt road and very steep hills into and out of was difficult to rain to maneuver with the travel trailer. And to get up into the park had a pretty steep hill with Rock Road also.

The Park hosts were very friendly and helpful. The area was clean and we'll kept. It was a beautiful place on the water. I really like that they provide a non denominational service on Sunday. You can beat free mini golf and shuffle board.

This was a peaceful gem of a campground! We watched a beautiful sunrise over the water, fishes and played putt putt to our hearts content. The owners were lovely and the facilities were clean!

Great time, beautiful sites, very nice and quite campground. The sunrises over the lake is gorgeous! Would give it a 5, but the road into the campground is very rough with some extreme hills and some washout. Other than that, highly recommended!
