Nice clean well keep park. Friendly people. Great location.

Very close to the highway that was very noisy. No amenities in the campground (no bathrooms or shower facilities). Could not find trash receptacle. Thought the conditions and the nightly fee did not match.

Campground Response

I dont advertise amenities. If i did my prices would be higher.Your unit was big enough to have the amenities you needed. You need to read before you book! As far as the garbage i know i told you where it was. Big dumpster isnt hard to find. No one seems to have that problem. Really sorry you didnt get a refund. Policy is 7 days !Have a good day!

Beautiful campground and the perfect jumping off point for all sorts of fun activities! Rita (the owner) is wonderful and very welcoming. Very pet friendly! We will surly be back again if we’re in the area!

Owner was open and friendly although she was a little closed to campers guests/visitors. Campsites were clean and level with a picnic table per site. Would have been nice to have a fire pit. Entry to the park really needs lighting. Coming in at night was difficult. Nothing else was advertised and they didn't have a laundry, washroom or pavilion. If you just want a nice campsite this is your place.

Great little campground that sits on a creek - extremely dog friendly! Rita is the hostess with the mostess and is an absolute gem, clean and well kept grounds. This is our second time here and will be back again.

We enjoyed our 12 day stay.....the owner, Rita, came to our site, greeted us and gave us a map of the area.....kindly asked if we had any questions. It was nice having beautiful green grass that was impeccably kept right at our sites. The best part was we hoped on our e-bikes, and right out the back gate we rode on the Mickelson trail for miles and miles.....took us right in to Hill City and beyond. Rita keeps a close eye on the RV park and guests so you all feel very comfortable. And even during Sturgis, they keep their prices more then reasonable. Thank you for a fun time

This could have been a nice RV site if the owner was not so unwelcoming and obnoxious upon arrival. We were not greeted with a hello, but rather a very aggressive owner whoes first words were "would you like me to cancel your reservation right now, I will get Rover Pass on the phone right now" The owner had a park renter show us to our site as the owner was not in. I did not know this was not the owner and made comment about the highway noise. Apparently this renter, told the owner I was rude to her employee. What? no one makes introduction and I am suppose to know who these people are? When I told the owner that we were fine where we are, she continued to aggesively approach me. Given this in a period of time with Covid 19, I did not like the fact that she was in my personal space and without a mask. ( I had worn my mask upon checkin) The owner then proceded to tell me she would "kick my ass out right now" because of the way I treated her employee! what? All I said to the person was the highway noise was loud. This was not her employee as that person left two days later. The owner goes around in her golf cart and talks to every owner adnauseum. But she never approached us again to bother to apologize for her rude behavior! So if you plan to make a reservation at this site, don't expect to be welcomed. I have never been agressively approached by a human with such a rude manner. A true bully!

Campground Response

You came in complaining about your site. I dont put small campers in my pull thrus unless we are very slow. South Dakota has a great governor and has left it to each business weather you want to wear a mask or not. At my campground my people choose not. Your choice. if so worried why are you traveling??Your husband was very nice and made talk when you were not around. Talked about how nice of a day it it was etc. Very nice gentleman. As far as my camp host they did not leave . Look closer they moved one spot over so yes they are my employees. We had a 4th of july pot luck. We asked you to join us. You declined. I visit with people i feel comfortable with .That kathy was everyone ! Even your husband! Also your daughters husband.. If you are so afraid of the covid i do think you should be home quarantined. Also my other guests said you would not even say hi. Sorry you feel this way.

Had a great time exploring the Black Hills area from Creekside Mountain Resort! Beautiful area near Hill city, SD our host Rita was very helpful giving us tips on what to visit in the area and in helping us set up camp!

Sarah Epplin

The grounds are beautiful and the owner is friendly. My group enjoyed our stay.

Michelle Smith

Beautiful little RV park near a walking/biking path to town. The host was adorable and friendly and my wiener dog loved the pet friendly set up.

Greg Astle

Enjoyed our stay here. Rita the host is very friendly and helpful. Shared information with us on what to do and see. Access to Mickelson trail right on property. Very nice for bike riding. Will stay again if in the area.

David Asher

Great location near town and close to all the sites. Very dog friendly. Greeted when I arrived and given lots of info on what to do in the area. Thanks.

Rita is warm and welcoming. Clean, convenient walking area for dogs. Great location for exploring the area. Lots to see and do; Mt Rushmore, Deadwood, Custer All you need

Audrey Wheeler

Great place, small but definitely a friendly environment. Immaculately clean and tidy. One of the owners Rita is always available and welcomes each camper. Would recommend this campground to everyone. They have many returns and we will join that list of people who return again and again

Rita was great. She was very hospitable and went over everything with us 1 on 1 when we arrived, including sites to see around the area, maps, trails, dining, etc. Sites are extremely well maintained. There is a 103 mile gravel trail right behind her land with an easy access gate. Only about 2 miles into town. There are no showers here so if you need to shower go to the Super 8 at the end of town and for $5 you can shower. If we ever come back through SD we will for sure stay here again.

Kathie Davis

My husband and I are traveling across the United States and I had to make reservations site unseen. We both were so impressed with the park. It was so clean and well maintained. Rita was great and so helpful with everything including where to eat and how o get there. She meets personally with you at your site after you get set up. She explained everything we needed to know about the park. Great park great management. Thanks for a great stay.

A nice clean RV park next to a winding stream. The park backs up to the Michelson trail which you can use to walk or bike into Hill City. All sites were full hook up but there are no other services to include laundry or showers. It is very pet friendly and Rita, the owner, was helpful in pointing out the must see attractions and dives in the area. Would stay here again.
