Copano Bay RV Resort is located in the beautiful town of Rockport, Texas and is a great spot for a fun and relaxing vacation. Campers may look forward to a number of great attractions just beyond the campground including the beautiful Rockport Beach, Texas Maritime Museum, Rockport Center for the Arts and the Copano Bay State Fishing Pier. There's also Goose Island Park, the popular Aransas Pass, Aquarium at Rockport Harbor, Fulton Mansion State Historic Site, Winery on the Bay and plenty of opportunities for fishing, scenic viewing, kayaking, paddle boarding, boating and sightseeing tours and of course, excellent local bars, entertainment centers, and eateries in the area. Children under 14 must be accompanied by the registrant at all times. They are not allowed to play in any building, swimming pool or fishing pier without supervision. Registrants are responsible for any damage. All visitors (day visitors or overnight visitors) must check-in at the office and be accompanied by the registrant at all times. The park and it’s facilities are for the exclusive use of resort guests only. Any exceptions must be approved by management in advance of the arrival of your guests. There is an additional charge for overnight guests.
Garbage and trash must be secured in plastic bags and deposited in dumpsters. Please do not leave trash outside overnight, on the ground, or in front of or around the dumpster. All gray water must be contained; do not dispose of gray water on the ground. Texas law requires that a sewer hose must be fastened using a threaded connector or a rubber donut. All corrugated hoses must be supported to allow proper drainage and cannot be laid on the ground.
Laundry facilities and restrooms are open 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM to resort guests only. Dish washing is not permitted in the restroom facilities. There is absolutely no smoking inside any buildings and clothes lines are not permitted. The clubhouse and recreation hall are open 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM (except during summer months). There is a key available in the office for the recreation room should you desire access. All children must be supervised by an adult while using the recreation room. Group meetings can be arranged through management. Smoking is not allowed inside any buildings. The swimming pool hours are 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Children must be supervised by an adult at all times. Children under 16 are not permitted in the Adults Only Pool. No glass containers and no food allowed in the pool area. Please read all of the posted rules about the swimming pool. Fish refuse must be secured in plastic bags and disposed of outside the park. No barbecue grills or citronella candles on tabletops. Guest will be responsible for damage.
Only one RV and one automobile allowed on each site. Park vehicles in your assigned spaces and not on grass or in vacant spaces. No second vehicles unless prior arrangements have been made with management. See office for additional parking accommodations for you and your guests. No unlicensed motor vehicles of any kind are permitted on the property. Keep yards clean and clear of clutter, and please keep all personal property stored within your vehicles. No mats or rugs permitted on grass areas. Cutting standing trees, (dead or alive) is prohibited. Please do not dig any holes or trenches. Dispose of cigarette butts in proper receptacles and not on the ground.
The responsible party will pay for damage or destruction of any property. Management is not responsible for loss or damage to personal property caused by natural disaster, fire, theft or accidents. The speed limit is 5 MPH throughout the park. Strictly enforced. Be alert for children. No open ground fires at any time. Fires in approved containers only except during fire ban. Scooters. ATV’s, loaded firearms, BB guns and fireworks are not permitted in the park.
Check-in time is 1:00pm and check-out time is 11:00 am. An additional full day will be charged for late departure without prior arrangements. No refunds will be given for early departures or cancellations. Quiet hours are from 10:00 AM to 7:00 AM. Please be considerate of your neighbors.
No more than three domestic, non-aggressive pets are allowed. Breed restrictions: No Pit Bulls, Dobermans, Rottweilers, Staffordshire Terriers, Wolf, or mixes of these breeds allowed. Pets are to be controlled and on a leash at all times except in the designated Pet Area. Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets. Pet waste bags are available in the Pet Area. All waste is to be picked up and disposed of in the trash container located in the pet area or one of our dumpsters. Please, do not throw your pet waste over the fence. Pets may not be left outside unattended either at your site or in the pet area. They must be kept under control, quiet, and inside at night. Pets are not allowed inside any buildings, in the pool, or in the pool area.
Depososits are non refundable and required in order to guarantee a site upon arrival.
Our park has a 10 year limit in RVs coming into the park for extended stays
In terms of RV washing, guests must notify the office before washing. There is a charge per wash. Vehicle or boat washing is not permitted. Mechanical repairs, including changing oil and lubing, is not permitted unless approved by office or by recommended vendors.
