There are a lot of RV parks to choose from in Rockport, Texas and this should be only for the weekenders that like to party and could care less about their children and their cars. No parking in spot unless you have small RV, kayak launch they say? Yeah, if you want to throw it off the edge of hill into water below or you risk hurting yourself. Pool is very small and packed on weekends. Non helpful maintenance people who will race through park on golf carts. Full timers there you can tell with all their junk and collections out on side of RV. No drainage at all so if it rains, water stands so mosquito heaven.

We loved our stay at Copano Bay. The park is very well maintained and clean. The fishing pier, pool and club house are great assets to the facility. The sunsets are unbelievable. Their rates are very affordable and in line with others interested area. The park is conveniently located near restaurants, beaches and shopping. Kimberly and the staff are excellent. We hope to return next year.

LOVE this RV park!! I have stay in numerous of RV parks/hotels in Rockport but, I can assure you that I will not be staying anywhere but at the Copano Bay RV Resort from here on out. The park staff (Clinton, Dale, Kimberly, Regina) were super super friendly and very very helpful. Made us feel very welcomed. My son and daughter in-law stayed in one of the cabins and I'm here to to tell you that cabin was extremely clean, decorated and furnished very nice and had a super cold AC. We all had a GREAT time and were already planning for or next trip. See y'all real soon.

Love this park! Very clean and people are friendly. Kimberly and Mrs Regina are super sweet. Thank goodness for their awesome maintenance guy Dale! He was so helpful getting us situated and answering questions while learning our new RV! Kids had a great time and we can’t wait to be back!

Roy De La Garza

Moved our RV down this past weekend. Kimberly and mrs Regina did an awesome job at getting us a great spot! Want to thank Dale( maintenance man) for helping us get situated. Park is clean and people are friendly. Can’t wait to get back to the water. See y’all soon

Great spot. We stayed there over the thanksgiving holiday. It is under new management and many upgrades are in process. Clean, friendly staff and fantastic views. We had a great time with the community bikes!

Have to agree with the prior review. Mike, Maintenance guy not a nice guy, could tell by his tone that he was not happy it was taking a while to get the trailer where he wanted it to be placed. He came up to me early one morning and ask about my crab trap told me it needed to be placed in another spot, then said it needed to be tagged etc. I got upset about his harassment, then another guy, Terry came up and said If I was in their house I needed to follow their rules, also questioning me about my fishing license had his phone out ready to make the call to the Game Warden to come check my license, adv him to call. This was very upsetting another lady at the fishing pier witnessed this going on . Nothing about the placement of the trap or tagging in the campground rules. The Pool was a nice shade of green, I was told they had been fighting the problem since Memorial Day. Made the decision to move to a different place to get out of the constant harassment! We had been to this place 2018 nice people all the way around, made you feel like it was your 2nd home. We are not full timers only come on vacation, drive 600 miles one way for this kind of treatment. No one cares anymore its only about the money.

When we arrived we were greeted with a rude welcome from a man who managed the park overnight. You need to have someone who is a people person and not one who feels running the RV is a waste of their time. We were not told there was no late arrival policy and he harassed us constantly about being late. We understand about the pandemic but to close the showers early and not allowing the paying guests enjoy your amenities was not worth the money. Just to think I insisted to stay at your RV park to my husband is now a decision I regret. No thank you, I will not need to visit your park again.

Our visit was the second time of using our new RV. After an 8 hr plus day on the road, the maintenance man offered to back our RV into the site. Really helpful and much appreciated. He also came to get us when we got lost following Google instructions. Don't use google maps while in this location. Clean and well maintained. Town people were really welcoming and friendly.

Had a great time here. The park staff are nice and helpful. The full timers welcomed us to the happy-ish hour. That's what they call it. It was a good time. I could tell they take about of pride in the resort. They have done a lot work to get this place back in good condition. I recommend Copano Bay Rv resort and will stay here again.

Jaime Vallejo

Still doing construction but place is starting to look nice. Nice fishing pier and pool area. Good customer service - someone takes you to your assigned spot and helps you back in. RV spaces WAY too. Close to each other and the huge speed bumps are only negative.

Justin Smith

My wife and Ioved the park. Will stay again in the future.

I've lived in Rockport my whole life but I've never thought about camping right on the bay, and I'm glad I did! This campground is really nice and Fred and Vickie were such awesome people! They helped us identify a few great barbecue joints nearby and gave us helpful tips for getting around. Plus, the resort itself is super clean and swanky. My friend and I really had a great time at site 279, right by the water. It was the perfect spot for a nice weekend getaway. Will return!

Campground Response

Thank you so much for your feedback, Davina. We really appreciate it!
