Colt RV Park

Easy in and out, great access from Flying J truck stop. Fuel up and drive right into park. This is not a destination type of RV park unless you work for the mines or construction in the area. Several permanent or long term guests, large park that is NOT well maintained. Battle Mountain is our halfway point and we overnight here often when traveling. Our last stay we had no 30 amp plug in the electrical box so had to move to the site next to us and it had no working 110V outlet and no water. It is a gravel lot with spaces and few trees, shower facilities are at the truck stop. It is $25 night and one step up from dry camping but nothing to write home about. Lots of trains going by all night long, but we run a fan so don't really hear them. Only caution is before you shut off your rig, check your connections and make sure those services exist in your space before you lower jacks, close your curtains and shut off the rig, chances are pretty good you'll have to move spaces. We have stayed here twice.
