Cheesequake Campground

Overview

The Cheesequake Campground is located in the beautiful town of Matawan, New Jersey and is the perfect spot for a fun and relaxing east coast camping trip. 

Activities and Amenities

Campers can look forward to plenty of wide open spaces for picnicking, nature walking, biking and stargazing. And of course, no visit to the park is complete without time spent at the six-acre Hooks Creek Lake; go swimming on the water, or fish for trout, catfish, sunfish and largemouth bass. There's also opportunities for scenic viewing and photography so prepare for great open fields, salt and freshwater marshes, a white cedar swamp, pine barrens and a hardwood forest. There's also several trails to enjoy, so don't get caught outside without your hiking sneakers and camera!
