Overview
The Buckhorn Lake Resort is located in the beautiful and historic town of Kerrville, Texas and is a great place to enjoy a fun southern adventure. Onsite, travelers can look forward to golfing, boating, tennis, wildlife viewing and fishing in the stocked pond. Just beyond the campground, visitors can look forward to excellent local attractions such as hunting, wildlife viewing, golfing, The Coming King Sculpture Prayer Garden, Museum of Western Art, Riverside Nature Center and breathtaking views and water activities at Flatrock Park. There's also Brinkman Art Foundation, Stonehenge 2 and the Louise Hays Park. And of course, travelers can look forward to the Kerrville River Trail, Cailloux Theater, Kerr Arts & Cultural Center and the River's Edge Gallery. For some camper's however, the area's great antique stores and excellent local eateries are the biggest draws. Amenities at the park include: cable TV, WIFI, fitness center, trash service, 30/50 amp sites, pickle ball court, tennis court, laundry facilities, pool access, restrooms, showers, RV storage, putting green and a country store. Each cottage accommodates up to six guests and has a bedroom with a queen size bed, a hallway nook with two twin size bunk beds, and a queen size sofa sleeper in the family room. The kitchenette is complete with a full size refrigerator, sink and microwave but there is no oven/stove. Linens are included and guests have full use of all the park amenities. Sorry but NO PETS of any kind are allowed. BLR Cottages are smoke free.
