Tent site review. actual tent site was nice , good view of water but water of reservoir was nasty tons of algae which they said was not in bloom . Second there was a huge fight between campers/ sites next to us from 12 midnight-3 am involving law enforcement a huge inconvenience to us other ppl trying to sleep which the front desk did nothing to help or compensate ppl . Then spoke to a nice lady in front about boat rentals and pets which she confirmed pets are ok then a rude younger punk says no I’m owner and no dogs my boat is nice ok jerk . Then went to rent a boat and the say no too windy lol ok overall they are rude and place is rundown reservoir is a joke to fish

I hate writing reviews off of not staying somewhere but once we got there we chose not to stay. The site is very small and there is no privacy at all between campsites. We booked site 18 but pulled in and pulled right out. The lady on the phone was nice when we told her we were running late for the 6pm check in. The lake had algae bloom and we didn’t want to put our jet ski in it. We went farther up the road to twin lakes instead.

Well-maintained campground with easy lake access. Variety of lake-view campsites from full hookups to tent camping most with some amount of shade and even some grassy areas. Bathrooms and showers, propane, BFEF recycling center, plus a quaint marina store. Friendly staff will hook you up with all the gear, rental boat and even some tips to catch the big ones. Lots of BFEF tagged trout in here. Had some of the best fishing ever.

Campground Response

Thank you for choosing Bridgeport Marina and campground. We so appreciate your kind words. Please come back!!

My family and I enjoyed tent camping at this location. We had the view of the water and mountains. It did get extra cold at night. We were able to go the travertine hot springs which was only ten minutes away from the camp site.

We brought our 19 foot camper here and stayed for 3 days and had a wonderful time. the facilities are very well maintained and the views are stunning. The employees were extremely helpful and extremely accommodating as we were there for an event and needed some extra support. Highly recommend staying here.

What a spot! I wish I had known more about the place before I came because I would have absolutely stayed for longer. The view from our tent site was something out of a travel book or magazine!! We arrived as the sun was just starting to set and got an incredible show over the reservoir and mountains that frame the reservoir. We also met all of the local mosquitos there too, I'm sure :) Aside from the incredible spot, everyone was so friendly and welcoming! Full of information and friendly advice. We also met "Corny" (the best mouser around from what we were told!) who also was happy to have a few pats and rubs in the office as we were leaving. Cannot wait to go back again!

My kids and I just spent three nights here, the sites are much larger then they were last time we visited (2020), as a parent it helped me stress less about my kids being in other peoples spaces. This is one of my favorite places to camp and I really enjoyed bringing my kids to such a beautiful spot

Campground Response

Rachel, Thank you for your thoughtful response. Yes , we did expand the sites. Thank you for noticing!! Please come again!!
