We were very impressed with Big Creek RV Park. The campground is very well maintained, the sites had plenty of space and the staff was super helpful and friendly. Plus it is convenient to Elephant Rocks, Johnson's Shut-Ins and Taum Sauk Mountain. We will definitely stay there again.

This is a fantastic campground. It is located along a beautiful stretch of Big Creek near Annapolis MO. It is easy driving distance from many of the great geologic and historic sites in Iron County MO. Johnson Shutins, Elephant Rock, Taum Sauk Mountain, Fort Davidson and many others are all close by. The town of Anapolis has a Dollar General and a Gas Station with diesel that is about 10 minutes away. The tri city area of Arcadia, Ironton and Pilot Knob is about 20 minutes away and has a large grocery store, several gas stations, McDonalds etc. I like the location because it is far enough out that you are not bothered by all the town traffic but close enough that it is convient. The campground is very well taken care of. There is a pool, game room, bathrooms and showers. The sites are all very spacious and well laid out for large and small rigs. Every site has 50amp services. The hookups are also placed correctly so that they should easily hookup to most rigs. The camp store is well stocked and has items that most anyone would need in a pinch so that you don't have to go looking for lost and forgotten items. They even have a gem mining station. My son loves these and every where we go that has one we have to do it. All and all I can't recommend this place enough if you are coming to this area of Missouri. This would be a great place to hang out for a long period of time as well.

very friendly owners, answered all our questions. They up dated our site to a pull through. Park is remote, but is not too far to Ironton where there is a large grocery store. We were very satisfied clean showers , bathroom and pool. Friendly campers stopped to visit, dog friendly. We had a wonderful time enjoyed the Halloween party hay ride and park parade. we will be back . Thanks for a great time.

Nice campground in the middle of nowhere. It has a nice pool and clean restrooms/showers. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Beautiful creek immediately behind the campground and approx 25 miles away from both Elephant Rock and Johnson's Shut-Ins State Parks.

Ted Bartelstone

A wonderfully run campground. Owner very friendly and helpful. Our Site was not too big, but met our needs perfectly for our small trailer. People were very friendly. Campground had a Halloween contest, exciting for our grandson. Location of campground great for visiting Johnson Shut-Ins and Elephant Rocks State Parks.

Josh Boehme

Sites are nice and big and level. Overall park is clean and owner is very nice to talk to. Really enjoyed our stay will be going back.

Dana Meads

This campground is very nice, especially considering how isolated it is. We made use of the pool, which was immaculately clean. The shower areas were clean and each of the four units was a completely self contained full bathroom, very handy and private. Each site featured plenty of space with lots of grass and a nifty firepit. The creek was a beautiful bonus, but watch your's extremely slippery on the rocks. Absolutely no conveniences nearby, such as restaurants or grocery stores, so prepare accordingly. Remote locations are perfect for relaxing, but not for getting data service in any form, in case that is important to you during your stay. We definitely recommend Big Creek and the gorgeous state parks in the area for a short getaway.

We will definitely be back! Great RV park, quiet and well kept. Shower house was clean and was set up as individual bathrooms. Pool was nice, smaller than some but in great shape. Super easy access to Big Creek, which is a great spot for kids to wade and splash while I sit in the chair. It sits right next to the highway but, it's not a super busy highway so not much noise.

Natasha Ballew

Great customer service. Camp ground sites were well maintained and very large in size. Could use some more mature trees for shade over the camp sites, but that’s the only negative thing I have to say.

Stan Reames

Very clean right on the river the duck races where a lot of fun, hosts where really friendly and helpful we will be going back again soon thanks.

Jodi Thole

Stephanie Nishwitz

Really nice shower house, individual shower/toilet rooms. Small pool but clean. Nice little play ground for little kids. The actual camp sites are clean and tidy, but rather small and really close to each other. The picnic table was plastic and all cracked and broken. The seat part pinched the skin if you didn't cover it with a cloth because of it being cracked and broken. The water/electric hook up is on the side kinda far up towards the front of the spot. Had to go to town to buy an extra waterhose to reach. Our slide out is on the driver side so we couldn't pull up further to make the hookup closer to the back. Our second night we were there, we were asked to turn our music down at 8pm because the sound carried across the other side of the shower house and bothered someone. It was a small Bluetooth speaker and it wasn't turned all the way up to begin with, as well as being clean country songs. Noise curfew is 11pm on Friday and Saturday, but we still played nice and turned it down. So I'm on the fence about it as a whole. A lot of nice features but some kinda annoying ones.

Jeff Baldwin

Great host, clean showerhouse, clean pool. Would encourage to build some sort of ramp for people who bring their motorcycles to help unload them
