We spent the past few days here, the address is 609 Browns Ln, Urbanna, Virginia. We found the campground to be very nice with a ton of things to do,on site. I say that as its quite a drive to get anywhere from there. The GPS took me down Rt 301 south of Baltimore to the Rt 17 junction and then east thru Tappahannock and then another Approx.25 miles to Rt 610 left for about 5 miles to Bethpage which is on an off chute of the Chesapeake. Both salt and fresh water there. Got there sunday afternoon, and the campgrounds was less than 25% full. Its a very large facility with a few hundred seasonal campers well entrenched with decks and tiki bar's. The pull thru on A4 was spacious, level and without standing water. Some had water standing a little mud left from a recent storm. The spots were dirt and grass. The large spots are such, there were some concrete pads that are small. The lake and beach is very nice. Sand, fresh water and a trampoline platform in about 12 feet of water. The 3 water slides are amusement park size and the adjoining pools (3) and very nice. One is adults only. The salt water access to the bay is a dock that can hold dozens of boats. A jet ski owner said the no wake zone is a 20 min ride to open water. Price was $74, fam of 4 per day. Bring a bike or glf cart, 1/4 mile walk to the ice cream stand. - Review provided by RV Park Recommendations & Reviews Facebook Group
