Love the campsite, very roomy. Loved pool & dog park.

Awesome pool and bathrooms, appreciated that they were clean. Lots need less sand and more gravel. Easy check in.

Very nice, new campground. Convenient to Manteo, Cape, and Kitty Hawk. No trees/shade but clean, spacious sites with a beautiful pool and bathhouse on the marsh!

We had a nice stay. It’s a no frills campground with a nice pool but I barely get my 37 foot travel trailer in the site. Power goes out occasionally so bring a generator.

Great campground, close to downtown manteo, super quiet and check in was very easy too.. Sites are a little tight but the view of our site was great of the marsh and the bridge. We stayed on Lot 21 beside the pool.

We loved our stay at Beechland Campground! It's definitely a hidden gem, and we will be back! Such nice management and hosts, and the facilities are great. Gorgeous pool area overlooking the marsh/sound, super clean bath house (so nice to take a shower in a large shower after using the one in our camper for almost a week), handicap accessible facilities, and overall a really nice property. Great proximity to the Manteo downtown area, which is super cute! Would highly recommend! My favorite we've stayed at aesthetically as well :)

Loved everything about this campground. Margaret was so very kind. She explained everything we needed to know. I texted her and received a response right back. The location, pool, restrooms, and showers were very clean and nice. Will definitely be back.

Beach land Campground has a Convenient location to local attractions; clean and well kept campground; fabulous pool with handicap accessibility. The people who were permanent campers were so friendly knowledgeable and courteous; I really enjoyed their conversations at the pool. Their only downfall is there is no shade from the sun.

Mandy Baber

This is a nice, clean campground with a nice new pool. The bathrooms have two showers and two stalls which were always clean. There are some pull thru spots, which is what we had. The gravel allotment to park on is the right size for the tires but in the absence of grass, it leaves little room to walk around the camper or beside it without waking in sand. The spot we were in was level.

Michael Seaman

Enjoyed our short stay. The site was easy to get into, the management was great and the other campers we met were wonderful. Very good experience.

Brand new campground that is still a work in progress. Had a wonderful stay. Read a previous review and found it helpful in navigating our stay. Bathhouse and pool were excellent. No on-site office. Be sure to connect with campground on check in day BEFORE you arrive so you can get your site #. Would stay here again for sure.

New Campground - So have to give them a bit of a break. Made a reservation by phone. $80 a day, for weekday, non-holiday period. I was not sent a receipt or invoice. The owner gave me the wrong site number. Which meant quite a bit of maneuvering chicanery instead of pulling in from the street. Upon arrival, someone is on the spot I am told to be on. Campground is sand and gravel. No, none, not any grass for your animals. There were two sites with wood mulch on the utility side. (I had one of them). No trash receptacles. No waste containers for pet waste. No dumpsters on site. Site is very tight for a motorhome and there is not room to park my car beside the motorhome in the provided space, site is not sufficiently wide to use provided car park beside entrance side of coach. No patio. Picnic table in sand. Contacted owner after two days, so I can find out what to do with trash. I was advised to go to a nearby farm structure, down another street, which is clearly marked, with signage stating "No Trespassing". It appears some sort of construction is going on there. Owner acted like I should know, never having been there to trespass by going onto property clearly posted do not enter. Owner stated there were two trash bins located at a breezeway in the interior of the bathhouse structure. No office, no campground check in info, no wifi information provided (I did contact the owner and get it). Sand, lots of sand and 10" tall weeds. Growing in the sand. And the piece de resistance... The sewer hookup is about 10" above my coach, which means I am trying to push sewer water uphill, above the level of my black tank valve (38' motorhome) to dump tanks. Which is going to be a WONDERFUL mess after I finish dumping and try to drain my sewer hose before stowage. There is a pool. Allegedly there are bathrooms and showers, but I was never given an access code in my 3 days staying there to access them. Good thing I am self contained and did not need to depend upon them to use the restroom or shower. Campground was quiet, did not hear any of the reported noise of previous review last week. I am right next to the entrance, so I hear everyone driving in and out in the morning. All in all, this place may have potential for the future. But it's nowhere near approaching any quality to justify the very high $80 a night price point. I get the overhead concept of starting a new park, but this is the 2nd park for this owner, you will not get customers to pay for amenities and an experience which is just not there. Not having any grass, at all to take my pups out is a deal-breaker for me. Fortunately, they did not balk at going on rough construction-style wood mulch. Not having mulch anywhere else in the campground meant other campers were using my campsite for their dogs. Which meant I had a huge large dog poop right outside my coach I stepped in after dark returning to my coach and tracked in on my carpet before I realized it. The owner did offer to come to see me a couple of times "to address my concerns". She was polite. She was responsive to my requests by text message. This was a last-minute trip to spend time with friends, otherwise, I would have pulled right out. No trees, no shade, and occasional small shrubs on the utility side of spots. IMHO - having absorbent mulch around sewer hookups, which are significantly higher than coach black valves will create a continuing health hazard as sewage water is dumped, absorbed and contamination held by the mulch. Water pressure, is good. I would advise passing on this campground for now, until maybe next year to determine if it is any better shape, to justify the very high price point. "We just opened" is not an excuse for what I had, and for what I paid. No receipt, no office, no trash dumpster, no campground map. I checked out yesterday morning and still have not received a receipt for my $250+, 3 day bill. I texted the owner and requested an invoice. I have been RVing for years, often full-time. This place made my Top 5 Worst Campgrounds - or Worst Campgrounds for the Money list.
