Welcome to Beechland Campground,

At Beechland campground you will discover beautiful sunset views over the Croatan Sound. Take the bikes over to downtown Manteo located just over a mile from your campsite where you'll find plenty of art and shopping to fill your afternoons. Bring the Kayaks too, as we are located within walking distance to the Bowsertown Boat Ramp off California Lane. If you're looking for a beach adventure, we are just 10 minutes from Jennette's pier. Don't forget Fort Raleigh, The Elizabethan Gardens & The Aquarium, all located on the North End of Roanoke Island just 5 minutes from the campground.

Of course, if you're looking to slow down during your travels you will find everything you need right here on property. Our heated pool overlooks the sound and you will find full shower facilities in our bathhouse. All of our campsites feature full hookups and boast robust internet service. Bring the pup with you at Beechland. We have a lovely little dog park to let them roam, we just ask that you clean up after your pet. Please look but don't touch when you take in the sites of our small private farm located down Fannin Mill road.

Close enough to everything to make the perfect beach vacation, but still away from the hustle and bustle. Come get lost at Beechland Campground!

Ciean Robert was great not being to have a fire not cool but not the camps fault

The site we were at ,35, was easy access but the sewer dump was uphill from our camper. Terrible situation. The wifi was very intermittent, it would drop every 3-5 minutes. Contacted the host and he said he had contacted the owner. The situation never changed. When it rained it smelled of cow and pig manure:( the host a good guy.

Relatively new campground. Great location. New bathhouses and pool. Very quiet place. Robert, the camp host could not have been more welcoming and accommodating. Long term or annual lease seems to be at least 50% of residents. The bathrooms were cleaned daily however not 100% clean. Perhaps a more thorough clean on occasion is recommended (or maybe already planned). We would return if in the area.

Robert was awesome kept us updated , told us where to go and what to do, best place to eat etc, he made our week, we had a great time very clean, pool was nice clean park, would stop back again

Mostly permanent campers here. A bit pricey for a site on loose gravel over sand that made leveling difficult. Pool area looked nice and it was fairly quite except one uncontrolled barking dog.

Loved our stay at Beechland. Would love to see the addition of laundry and cable but overall a very nice place to stay.

What, no hot tub?! Seriously, the pool is awesome, bathrooms clean and plenty of hot water for your shower. What surprised me was the space; lots of space for our 34' 5'r and separate parking for the Ford. In this desirable, go-to area one usually finds a crowd. With high demand comes high prices and tight spaces. This park was neither of those. OK, the price was a little high, but nothing out of the ordinary. I'm just a cheapskate who preys on state parks and Boondocker's Welcome, or any kind of boondocking that will fit our needs at the time. I was surprised to learn that this park had a lot of what I refer to as "permanentos"; those who live at the park year round. One wouldn't know this at first glance. the park is so clean, tidy, orderly and kempt. For us traveling through, the spaces, views and amenities are top notch. They set aside the best view spaces for us! Location location location: you'll be twenty minutes from Kitty Hawk and the Wright Brothers museum - a must do if you haven't done so yet. And if your old like me, you get in for free. You youngsters will have to pay $10 per person. Oh, and visit the Lost Colony (look it up), hit the beaches, as they are marvelous and don't forget to have a meal out. You won't find better sea food anywhere. FWIW, nobody has died here from eating local oysters since 1912 - ahem. Finally, check out my aerial view of the campground - it's awesome! https://jfotr.com/kittyhawk-nc/

We visited in Feb 2024. The staff was friendly, helpful, campground was fairly level and bathrooms/showers were very clean. For us the only negative was it seemed pricey ($70) for off-season and a no frill full hook-up.

Campground was very nice but never could get ahold of any one when needed help. Thankfully we were able to get help from refuge which is also owned by same company. We highly recommend Kathy from there. She helped us figure out ore camp site. She was very friendly and knowledgeable.
