Staff were helpful and nice. The $11.50 fee charged to make an on-line reservation is outrageous.

Just spent a week there with the 5th wheel. The location is great and we had a wonderful time. Has the feel of an old time mountain/ lake lodge. Rick and his staff were very friendly. As a new owner, Rick has a lot of work to get the facility fixed up and without issues ( cleaning, making utility hook ups more convenient, plumbing etc.) Fishing was real good. I hope Rick sticks with it. The place has tremendous potential.

First I wanted to say the staff was very pleasant and the location is beautiful. That being said, the restrooms were falling apart and extremely dirty. The bathroom/outhouse on the north side of the hwy looked like they hadn't been pumped out in years. You could smell them long before you got there. The bathrooms on the lake side were filthy and the fixtures were coming off. The faucet on the sink was barely attached, the toilet was leaking at the bottom and the it was in general disarray. Most of the bathrooms were out of toilet paper as well. While the food from the restaurant was great, it also was very dirty. I'm not talking about tracking in dirt (I realize it's a campground) I mean the window sills, the wall décor and the tables/chairs had an inch of grime. We were given creamer for my coffee in a dirty bowl and then when the waitress brought me a spoon, she put it in the creamer bowl. While pleasant, the waitress was unorganized and scattered both times we visited. Running her finger under her nose & sniffling several times while taking orders. We met the new owners and they were very nice. I hope they can take this criticism and make some corrections as we would like to see this place live up to it's potential.
