Bath house locks not secure. No beaches nearby. Convenient location.

Michael Fontana

Flexible check-in/out times, direct communication, clean site with first class service. Walk or golf cart to everything! Park it, and have fun! Thanks for being an amazing host!

Everything we needed, (nightly). Most of time we were site seeing on the local towns.

Kacie Leach

Quiet park, you can walk to bait shop, fishing pier, and great restaurants and shops. We will definitely return.

Debra Smith

Nice Small location. Really Great access to their Pier across the road from the park. The "YETI" Sponsored bridge is a 4 min car ride east. Guys had a WONDERFUL time fishing.

Quiet, comfortable, clean and convenient. Manager, Bertha is informative and helpful. Great place to stay.

Easy check in, nice grounds, no problems.

Didn’t mind being in very close quarters because we were across the street from the bay. Sunrise over the bay was spectacular. Clean site, easy reach to hookups. Did not go to bath-house. This is not a resort destination, this is a spot for your RV while you enjoy Rockport, and it was very close, which is what we wanted. So met all of our needs, which is why we gave it a 5. Also, is right next door to amazing historical mansion. Staff lovely. Will stay there again.

NOT IMPRESSED!!! Wall to wall campers, no room to even sit outside & enjoy. It would make a huge difference if you could at least have a little more room to cook out & relax. Would be a lot nicer if the sites were bigger, and had concrete pads!

Bertha, the park manager, was very friendly and helpful. It is a very friendly park. We love coming here to fish. The only reason I gave only 4 stars is because the fishing pier was not completely available due to hurricane damage. Fix the pier and put up lights for night fishing and it would be perfect!

We really enjoyed staying here!!! The people are super nice!!!!

Friendly management and great location. Such a walkable area with food and drinks close by. Right across from the bait shop and pier. Great place to sit outside at night and enjoy the fresh air. Very peaceful. Mix of concrete and grass for sites, but some without grass. Cute wooden tables for each site. Will definitely return.

Very nice and quiet.. loved the access to bait shop and fishing pier right across the street. Close walking distance to popular restaurants in the area and not a very far drive at all to the beach. The pier was stopped halfway through due to hurricane damage and the lights on pier were damaged As well. But thats understandable and we still caught plenty of small fish(no keepers) of red, catfish, lots of trout.. all in all was a good experience and the kids enjoyed the night fishing. The catch and release pond was not on our site for beacon RV park. That would have been fun to take kids to also.

Attempts were made at making a reservation online and via phone but there was no response from the park

Campground Response

PLEASE forgive us we continue to have internet and phone issues..... All this time after Hurricane harvey!

We had a great time. This park is small and homey right on the water with a pier for fishing. We had been here about 7 years ago and was disappointed the bait shop was closed, but there was another one just a block down the road. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. Bertha was very helpful with our questions.
