This is a very pretty campground. It does not have sewage hook-ups, but otherwise is equipped. It does have shade, which is nice in the summer. It is clean, and quiet. There is a 14-day limit here, so we had to move to Nickerson Beach Campground after that time. I wish they had sewers; after 6 days we had to take the Fifth Wheel RV to the dump station near the entrance to the camp, and then set up again (backing in, leveling, connecting water and electricity, etc.) In spite of these inconveniences, we will stay here again.

I normally don't give five star ratings to campgrounds, but this is it. My experience with Battle Row has been the best in the past few years of camping for me. First, when we called on the phone to place a reservation, which is the easiest and best way to get a spot, we spoke to two nice people from the office, one man and one lady. The lady was incredibly nice and answered all of my questions, and believe me, I asked a lot. Then she transferred me to a young man on the other line to take down my information. They made this reservation process welcoming and less painful than it normally was. We arrived after to the office during the hours and got our receipt, a map of the campsite, and a short list of rules to follow within the campground. Some basic stuff like speed limits, one way road regulations, and respecting quiet hours. We booked for 4 days, and I wish we could do more, but my schedule did not allow. You will find many negative reviews about this campground, which I asked about on the phone, but do not let that discourage you from staying here! Those reviews were from an old campground manager and they were also from people who were looking to live long term at the campground and obviously got turned down. Battle Row offers tent camping and RV camping that accommodates 30amp and 50amp sites. The only downside is that there is no sewer hookup, but they do have a dump site on the grounds. I personally recommend staying here.
