I thought the park was nice, staff was helpful. I just do not understand why there is a $3 charge for a visitor who lives in the area coming by the rv and visiting with you for 30 minutes. I do not think that is an appropriate charge because visitors are not using any amenities of the park.

We have used the park 3 times as a place to stop for the night. Small but they were adding on to it in March. Very quite, easy to access of I-10. Eating places fairly close but nothing in the park. Has nice small laundry room. I enjoyed the pull in parking and being able to sit in front of Motor home and look out over the water. One of the most peaceful places we have stayed. - Review provided by RV Park Recommendations & Reviews Facebook Group

This was a really great park! I really enjoyed the little fishing bridge that connected the two sides of the park. It really was something that helped make this park stand out. It wasn’t just the bridge; it was everything this place embodied. Friendly and upbeat staff, spot clean bathrooms and everything nicely maintained. Granted the washer and dryer units are a little small, but when we camp we don’t bring that many clothes so it’s not a big deal for us. The matter of the fact that it did a good job cleaning my clothes was a the main thing! It did the job well. I really enjoyed my stay here and hope anyone who decides to come here does as well. - Review provided by RV Park Recommendations & Reviews Facebook Group

On the surface Avalon Landing looks pretty good. We stayed a month but won't likely be back. There are two sections separated by a canal. We had the unfortunate luck to end up in the front section right off the highway. Road noise was extremely loud. It made being outside during the day undesirable although it tones down from about 11pm to 5 am. Most sites are small and gravel. The gravel is dirty and powdery and gets everywhere. There is a lovely walking/fishing bridge that connects the two sides, but in the evening has a lot of gnats (also at waterside sites). The W/D units in the laundries are small. The wiFi was better than most RV parks. If you enjoy fishing or crabbing you'll enjoy that, but make sure you get a site in the back part! - Review provided by RV Park Recommendations & Reviews Facebook Group
