Such a great campground and RV park in Edwards, MS. It is about 2.5 miles off of Interstate 20, which is perfect to not have to hear any road noise. Beautiful setting in amongst the trees. Great pavilion for rental.

Great service by the lady at the office. She shown us available sites and let us pick he one we wanted. Very fair price. Quiet. Shower and rest room very cleaned and well maintained. Site close to the lake and a lot of duck/geese roaming everywhere. The campground is located 20-30 minutes of driving from Vicksburg. I recommend Askew's landing campground.

A nice country setting around a medium sized lake. Very relaxed and welcoming. The staff was very helpful and courteous.

This is a country campground with many animals. Mom & Pop store, clean park, laundry restrooms and showers. Friendly staff. Our site was near the pond, so relaxing we never left park. Loved free roaming geese & ducks.

I've been here 3 times. The first two times it was better maintained than this time. Seemed to have more "permanent" residents and seemed dirtier. The bath house was not as clean as we remembered. The little bridge over the pond needed attention like cleaning and trees above needed trimming. Other than that, it was pleasant for a one night stay. Google GPS had us going in behind it somehow, even though the sign off the highway directed us correctly to the front entrance.

Beautiful campground! We were fortunate to find it last minute. Our tent site was right next to the road, but we had a beautiful view of the lake. We loved seeing all the geese, swans and ducks. If we are back this way again, we will stay here!!

We had a wonderful time here. The site was absolutely beautiful and so quiet. A hidden gem indeed! We arrived late, so the map and site location were left in an envelope for us. Hookups were easy, even in the dark. We will definitely be back!

It would have been nice to place those who are camping, to enjoy the setting/scenery, away from those who are permanent campers. It was a bit shocking to see many RVs a "bit run down" and being in their home area. It met our needs as we only needed a place for one night. Gloria

Park was full of deer hunt camp like full time campers with piles of junk laying around them. Site was in grass field with no shade, 4 feet from next camper, not near pond. No pad, no picnic table. Will not be returning. Walked by pond and one camper had sewer hose draining to it and there was trash around several campsites.

We very much enjoyed our stay here! We were just stopping for the night but wished we had more time there. Very convenient location close to the interstate, but far enough away that we felt like we were out in the country. They even had a small store where we bought food to cook for supper. Highly recommend it!

Wonderful peaceful environment. I would recommend adding more gravel throughout. The team was very helpful and joyful! The lake is great, our space was extremely quiet, and loved the idea that the freeway was so close, yet you didn’t hear it. Certainly had full time residents - but still a unique experience. Easy on and off freeway.

Pretty place with stocked lake and friendly staff.

Nice and quiet. VERY good value. If we go back, I'll ask 4 sites the high numbered RV sites. They're by the lake and more spacious. Other spaces are very close together.

My review is more for RoverPass, but does reflect our experience at this park. This park is off the beaten path but beautiful. We did not stay here because RoverPass over booked the campground. We reserved a 50amp site, but they only had a 30amp available. We travel in a 45’ toy hauler with 4 kids. There is no way we would have been happy with 30amp. The sites are grass/dirt with narrow gravel roads. The staff was very nice and apologetic. They made every attempt to find us a spot, even to the point of calling other parks nearby. RoverPass on the other hand, completely worthless! This is the second time we have used them and the second time we have had a problem. Never again!!!

Muddy soggy mess. We paid. Drove to site but didn’t stay. Couldn’t get out of there soon enough.

We stayed overnight at this campground. The staff was friendly and the campground was decorated for the Christmas holiday. There are a lot of permanent residents here. Our site was next to the pool and noticed our sewer hook up had water in it, but figured it would be ok for one night. It rained that nignht and the next morning our neighbors sewer overflowed all over our water line, electrical line, and our sewer line. It was one huge stinking mess!!! We had to replace and disinfect everything including our shoes!! They clearly have sewer problems at this campground. We also saw one camper emptying his gray tank on the ground near the lake.

This does not have indoor swimming. A very small pool. There are alot of campers that seem to be permanent residents there. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone.

Stopped for one night on our way west - wanted to get outside of Jackson. The park is off the beaten trail and mostly full of seasonal campers. (call to confirm directions) Sites are grass and can be soggy after a rain (recent rain before we arrived). We paid $25+ for w/e site - both located on side post had to change position since our electric is in the back. The wifi only works on computers less than 2 years old..... :-( The 2.5 mile drive into the park area is full of pot holes and extremely rough. We would not stay here again - Review provided by RV Park Recommendations & Reviews Facebook Group
