This 5.44 acre oasis in high desert country boasts 150 full grown trees, near numerous lakes and only two miles from Gunnison Bend Reservoir, which offers bass fishing, swimming, boating, and a beach. If rock hounding is your passion, this area will thrill you with Garnets, Topaz, Apache tears, Red Beryl, and Trilobites. This resort is a great destination spot for fishermen and rock hounds or a convenient stopover for any traveler. This park is fully improved with water, power and sewer hook-ups. Onsite Restroom and Showers, Laundry Facilities, Picnicking and Horseshoes. Off-Site: Swimming, beach area, fishing, boating, golf, rock hounding and local craft shops.

This campground has a $50.00 non-refundable 'administration' fee. The owners (Super wealthy inventors of the 'Squatty Pottie') quickly doubled the rent for workers coming to the area. Electric extra. Our rent ran around $1,000 a month but a lot of people paid more, depending on their electric use. No playground or pool and next to a busy road. (Okay if you like the sound of Jake brakes at all hours.) When we arrived in February they advertised Wi-Fi on their website. It's actually dial up I think. They kept assuring us it was coming, but as of July, it hasn't happened. There is insane drama here! The workers hate each other and want to discuss it with everyone, ad nauseam. Tenants regularly had their packages stolen from the office, including us. The administration gave our package to someone who sold it. They still didn't think twice about keeping the $50 administration fee! A tip for the thief? We weren't thrilled at being price gouged and robbed at the same campground. We wouldn't stay here again.
