Very rustic and pretty park. We liked it because its location is in the country but convenient to travel to downtown. They were very accommodating by letting us return back in the park after dark. I know that most park wouldn’t allow it. We were very fortunate to see a very rustic ceremony take place on the grounds. The staff went above and beyond to fit us in and resolve a problem that occurred during our stay. I really couldn’t believe how big the campground store is fully stocked with so many items and everything you could need for camping. They have a big fishing lake that we spent time catching some “ big ones.” Great weekend activities and nice campers, as well . They have a lot of seasonal shoulder can tell they come out every weekend, so weekends are quite busy, but during the week it’s pretty quiet. Great campground location for this area and welcoming park.

30 mins from Cleveland on Rte 83. This park is ok for a layover and they tout that they are the closest park to Cleveland. If you like rustic you will like it here. However for longer visits not so great. My lot was wet the entire time I was there so no quiet evenings outside. The roadways are muddy. Direct TV does not work here. Verizon service is non existent. Internet is non existent and I was told they have been waiting for service since May. I asked numerous times to move from my space to no avail. Be aware that you must register to have your tanks emptied and when you pay they cannot tell you what day they will empty. Makes planning for laundry very difficult. If you are thinking of renting a cabin here heads up.. the cabins are sheds that are not very inviting. I was in a MH but just warning you the cabins are junk... For me...
