Park Etiquette

Maintaining a non-disruptive and pleasant atmosphere at the park is a top priority. The park is to be an enjoyable experience for all guests. Guests who are loud, crude, disruptive, or taking advantage of the general park guidelines, or who do not contribute to a pleasant environment for others may be asked to leave and removed from the park. Thank you for your cooperation.

Welcome to American Way RV Park

Thank you for choosing to stay at American Way RV Park. The following is a list of park guidelines and policies. The purpose of the guidelines is to help create a safe and enjoyable environment for all park guests. Thank you for honoring and respecting your neighbors. Please reach out with any questions you may have.

Registration

Guests are encouraged to register their stay online at AmericanWayRVPark.com. Registrations can also be done over the phone at 1(304) 850-8300

Cancelation Policy:

100% refund until 7 days prior to check-in. 50% percent refund 3 days prior. 24 hours and less prior to stay the reservation is no longer refundable. Note: All refund calculations exclude the RoverPass service fees and credit card processing, which are non-refundable

Payment Details

Payments are to be made before or upon arrival. Rates can be found on AmericanWayRVPark.com. For long-term monthly guests, payments are due by the 1st of each month. There is a 2 day grace period. All payments received after the 3rd will incur late fees. Late fees = $20.00 per day. For monthly guests who arrive after the first of the month, a pro-rated monthly rate will be used based on the number of days into the month to make sure guests are not being overcharged for their stay.

Payment Type

Card: Payments by card can be made on the website Checks: Checks to be made out to American Way RV Park. Please place the check in an envelope with name & lot#. Check can be placed in the dropbox at the office. Cash: Please place in envelopment with name and lot #. Cash can be placed in the dropbox at the office.

RV Appearance and RV Lot Appearance

All Motor homes, RVs, and Travel Trailers, must be in good working order and appearance. - Mold, algae, dirt covered RVs must be cleaned. - Please have all winterization skirting removed after the winter season - Lot space surrounding RVs are to be kept neat and orderly. - Please no overly excessive amounts of items and stuff stored on lot.

Vehicles and RVs

All RVs and motorized vehicles brought into American Way RV Park shall have current insurance and registration. - Two vehicles permitted per RV lot. If approved, a third vehicle may be allowed at an additional cost of $50 per month. - All Motor homes, RVs, Travel Trailers, & Vehicles must be in good working order and appearance. - All vehicles must be able to be moved by the guest within one day’s notice. - We reserve the right to refuse access to any guest/s whose vehicle/s is/are deemed to be unacceptable. Outside of your RV must be presentable to our standards. - Boats, boat trailers, cargo trailers, car dollies, tractors, ATVs or ATV trailers are permitted on a case to case basis. Storage fees may apply - Additional storage

Security

There are security cameras positioned throughout the park to help ensure the safety of all guests. - In case of emergence, call 911. - Profanity or violence towards other guests or will result in immediate eviction from park. - Absolutely no illegal drug activity is permitted. This will result in immediate removal from the park.

Outdoor Pet Policy

Dogs are welcome at American Way RV Park. In order to help maintain safety of other guests within the park and to keep the park clean and enjoyable for all other guests, dog owners are required to follow “pet guidelines”. Dogs that are disruptive to the park and/or other guests may lead to the dog owners being asked to leave. American Way RV Park reserves the right to refuse service to anyone whose pet is not considered suitable to the serenity and safety of our guests. | When outside, DOGS MUST BE KEPT ON A LEASH and under the control of someone who can manage. | Pets may not be left unattended. | Guests are responsible to CLEAN UP AFTER THEIR DOGS and dispose of waste. | There is a three-pet limit at American Way RV Park. | No exotic or over-sized pets are permitted. This includes all reptiles or large birds. | If given permission for a small pet pen, you are responsible for cleaning, mowing, and weed eating that area. | As long as safe and non-disruptive, these stated “pet” policies do not apply to registered service animals | Cats must be kept inside | American Way RV Park is not responsible for and will not be held accountable for any injury or damage caused by pets. | Aggressive Breed Dogs are not permitted at the park. Aggressive Breeds include Pit Bulls and Rottweilers. This is a requirement set by American Way RV Park insurance coverage. | Owners of barking/disruptive or aggressive dogs may be asked to leave the park | Failure to follow these guidelines may result in being asked to leave without a refund.

Quiet Hours - Park Noise

Please be respectful of neighboring - No lengthy running of generators in the park day or night. - No loud and disruptive music - Quiet Hours 10:00PM to 8:00AM - Please use common sense and be respectful of other park guests. - After Quiet Hours: No power tools, loud construction or other obviously loud activities

Maximum Occupancy

No more than 4 adults per site.

Speed Limit

There are children and others throughout the park. Let’s be safe. The speed limit on Stoops Road (the paved road) is 15 MPH. The speed limit on the side roads (the gravel roads) is 10 MPH. This is to ensure the safety of park guests and will be strictly enforced. - Visitors of RV Park Guests are required to abide by the speed limit. Violators associated with park guests may impact the stay of park guests

Trash

Trash can be thrown away in the dumpster behind the fence near the office building located at the entrance of the park.

WiFi

Free WiFI is provided to park guests. Login details provided in the welcome packet.

Mail

Mail boxes can be provided to guests who are staying longer than 2 months. The mineral wells post office is located less than 1 mile away from American Way RV Park and could be used for mail delivery if park guest chooses. The Post Office address is 1259 Elizabeth Pike, Mineral Wells, WV 26150

Snow Plowing

American Way RV Park is responsible for plowing the snow on the gravel roads. During snow accumulation please be sure to have vehicles parked to the side of RVs to allow for plowing.

Campfire

Small elevated fire rings are available along the back side of the office. The city of Mineral Wells does not permit any fires until after 6pm. Fires must be completely extinguished prior to leaving the area. Please return fire rings after temporary use.

Liability

Management, staff and owners of American Way RV Park assume no responsibility for accidents, injuries, or losses of any kind. Please enjoy at your own risk. You agree as campers/guests to carry and maintain in full effect, adequate personal, health, property and liability insurance. Please report any problems with your site to the owners. Guests are responsible for any damage or injury caused by themselves, their children and/or pets. American Way RV Park is not responsible for personal injuries or damage, loss or theft of any personal property or vehicle. The Park is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged articles. Please keep valuables locked up. We adhere to and maintain all state, county, and local laws on property.

This RV park is so well kept and the grounds are very clean. This place is safe and quiet. It has open green spaces not like the other all gravel parks in the area. I would recommend this place to a friend!

Great, convenient location! The park is nice and quiet. The park owners were great to deal with. Responsive and helpful. I'd definitely recommend American Way to folks looking for a long-term park in the area.

FHU utilities worked fine. First assigned site was a mess. Second site was a new site and 6 inches out of level side to side. There was evidence of improvements in the campground so maybe it will get better. Did not see anywhere to dispose of trash. Old mobile homes mixed in with campsites. Overpriced for campground with no amenities no trash disposal unlevel sites but at least they were gravel not mud.

Hi Dolan, we appreciate your review. As new owners, we are actively making improvements to the park and feedback is always welcome. To ensure water drainage from all of our lots, we gradually slope the lots. I am sorry for any confusion regarding the trash, we have the information on the website and included in the welcome packet. I believe Nathan was one of the owners of the park. He was very polite and gracious to talk to. The park is currently having a major renovation to the roads and site orientation. While camping at park for 3 days we witnessed recycled asphalt being laid down and smoothed over. The park was quiet and spacious. The future looks promising for this park. We will definitely return to this park when passing through.

The internet pictures make it look better than it is. The park is a work in progress but the rate of progress means it will be a long time before it becomes more than just an overnight stopping place. Gave it 3 stars because it is quiet there and the hosts were friendly.

Nathan at American way rv park is wonderful! He is very prompt with every text, message or call. The park is quiet and clean plus very convenient to stores and restaurants and at a great price, too.

Quiet and well maintained. Mineral Wells is a growing community and close enough to Parkersburg,Marietta, and the Ohio river to enjoy all the activities there. There’s not much in the actual campground, but they are full site hookups and Wi-Fi. Pluses for us. The owners are very accommodating and responsive to your questions and needs.
