Adolph Thomae Jr. County Park is located in the beautiful town of Rio Hondo, Texas and is a great place for a fun, southern vacation. There's also a nearby salt water bays perfect for fishing, the shores of South Padres Island for beach front adventures, the Texas Air Museum and the Laguna Atacosa Wildlife Area. There's certainly no shortage of excellent gift and specialty shops, bars and craft eateries for visitors and locals alike to take advantage of.
