Located in Plainfield, Vermont, Onion River Campground has a unique layout. Tree-lined sites along the river create a more social atmosphere than a conventional campground. There is beautiful nature here and the amenities you need. There is a great river access for fishing, swimming, tubing, and wading. If you are looking to escape to the great outdoors then this is the place for you. Camping at Onion River is respectful, and kind, and we generally have loads of fun. The 56-year-old campground is located on a historic 54-acre piece of farmland that was one of the stops for the old B&M Keene to Boston Railroad. The campground provides a clean and quiet camping experience for groups, couples, and families, in a rustic country setting.
