Lake LBJ House is located on Lake LBJ in the beautiful and historic town of Kingsland, Texas and is a great place to enjoy a fun, southern adventure. Onsite, travelers can expect a breathtaking natural scenery and water sports like fishing, boating, canoeing, paddle boarding and water skiing. Just beyond the campground, visitors can look forward to excellent local attractions such as The King Ranch Tours & Museum, the historic downtown with its abundance of shops and local eateries and the Kingsville Symphony Orchestra. There's also the 1904 Train Depot Museum, John E. Connor Museum at Texas A&M-Kingsville, birding and nature photography. A recently renovated RV park in Fredericksburg, Texas, The Vineyards at Fredericksburg RV Park (formerly Quiet Creek RV Resort) features lots of brand new amenities! Now you may enjoy our luxury heated swimming pool even at night, as it's well lit at all times along with two off-leash dog parks and a playground for kids, as well as a meeting hall and rally room. All 150 RV sites include electric 50/30 amp sewage and water hook-ups. Many of the sites are pull-through friendly and 88 can fit big-rig RVs of over 85 feet in length. Krause Springs is a well known swimming hole and camping area located in the beautiful Hill Country of Texas. The 115 acre property is listed on the National Registry of Historical Sites and has been privately owned by the Krause Family for over 50 years. The property has many natural sites to explore -- 32 springs feed a manmade pool as well as a natural pool featuring a waterfall and underwater caves. Guests are welcome to explore many walking trails, shady picnic areas, fishing spots and take a stroll through the Butterfly Gardens. Be sure to make time to relax or take a nap while listening to the music of the wind chimes and the fountains. There are many designated areas to primitive camp surrounded by nature as well as 24 RV sites with water and electricity (20/30/50 amp) available. The Fredericksburg RV Park is located in beautiful Fredericksburg, Texas, which is well known for its German roots. The Dios Rios RV Park is located in the beautiful Texas town of Mason and is a great place for an authentic southern vacation. We are a small, beautiful river park with 19 spacious RV sites, 2 cabins, a vintage airstream, and more natural beauty than you’d believe possible in central Texas. All sites are 50-foot back-ins with water, 50/30/20 power and waste with strong WiFi covering the park for those in need! There’s plenty of signal to check email, Facebook, and surf the web. Campers can look forward to a number of nearby attractions such as Mason Mountain for hiking, biking, scenic viewing and stargazing, the Eckert James River Bat Cave Preserve and the Mason Square Museum. Welcome Home!   A short 7 miles from downtown Fredericksburg, these primitive RV and primitive campsites are close to Luckenbach, the Old Bat Tunnel and Alamo Springs Burger. In fact the campsite is directly across the street and a short walking distance to the historic Bankersmith Dance Hall and Saloon. Guests can enjoy this Texas Original with concerts, festivals most weekends or even just by stopping by for live music (played daily) and a cold drink. The Saloon is open 7 days a week!   One you arrive, you will have found yourself in the middle of a quaint Historic Ghost Town called Bankersmith, TX with a population of zero! The main building dates back to the 1870’s and was once a US Post Office and a General Store. Check the open hours of Bankersmith TX online. When you arrive, and you must arrive well before 9 PM, you will check in with the Main Bartender at the Bankermith Saloon at 7905 Old San Antonio Road, Fredericksburg Texas.   Campsites are in a large cow pasture across the street from Bankersmith Dance Hall and Saloon. Please don't come expecting Yosemite or the Ritz Carlton. This is as primitive as it gets. Conveniently located in Fredericksburg, Texas off the famous and beautiful Old Highway 9. Please make yourself at home for your stay! No charge for petting the goats or talking to the ghosts! But do not open gates, or hop fences. This Bankersmith Texas Campground is primitive on site but guests are welcome to use both the restrooms and water sources across the street, in the Saloon, when open. The camping grounds are on an open field close to the entrance of the parking. Campers are not to go through the second gate due to livestock.   Campers are of course allowed to bring in food or drink on the campgrounds but it may be easier to enjoy the food from Bankersmith’s Restaurant and Full Bar literally across the street! Bankersmith will truly appreciate your business as well! Live music 7 days a week as well. Hamburgers, Chicken Wings, BBQ Pulled Pork Sandwiches and a whole lot more (even Fried Bull Testicles)!   At the Bankersmith Saloon, you will hear, smell and interact with all sorts of animals! Get ready for an Alarm clock that goes off at random times. We have farm fresh eggs almost everyday from our free range chickens, so feel free to ask if there are any available! You are one of the herd now. All Fredericksburg farm products {goat soap lotion and candles} are available for purchase in the bar/general store, and make sure to buy your Bankersmith souvenir before saddling up and hitting the road, we have tee shirts, candles, koozies, lotions and hats available.   The main Bankersmith Bar is open Mondays-Wednesdays from 4pm-10pm and Thursdays-Sundays from noon-10pm. Be careful, some of the locals (cats, roosters, donkeys and an old man named Ed) bite. Stop on by the bar to enjoy some drinks and help yourself to our delicious food menu! People drive from 6 states away for our Pulled Pork! On the hauntings, the bar was also a makeshift Hospice for years and the location of multiple souls heading to heaven. A former owner shot himself on the front porch. You can see the shotgun spray marks in the rafters to this very day. The bar itself is home to a ghost known as CW. CW, when he died, was buried in the old out house that used to be outside the bar. The outhouse was knocked down unceremoniously and removed by a former owner. CW has been slamming doors and walking around at night in the bar ever since.

The Pedernales Falls State Park is located in the beautiful Johnson City, Texas. Present at the Pedernales Falls State Park is the Pedernales river that flows over and around huge slabs of limestone, with the gushing sound of water creating a tranquil atmosphere.   Activities and Amenities: While there, there are so many things that you could do. Here at Pedernales Falls State Park, you can camp, go hiking or mountain biking, have a picnic, geocache or bird watch and ride horses. On the river, you can swim, wade, tube or even fish! Looking for local wildlife and plants at the bird blind and butterfly garden is one of the moat recommended activities. The venue provides spacious pull thru sites with water and electric hookups. Attractions: You may also visit the nearby attractions including - Lyndon B. Johnson National Historical Park - The Lyndon B. The Blanco State Park is located in the beautiful town of Blanco, and is a great spot for an authentic Texas vacation. This small park hugs a one-mile stretch of the river. On the water, campers can swim, fish, paddle or boat, and on land, there's plenty of space to picnic, hike, camp, watch for wildlife, and geocache. For the group-travelers, there's a picnic pavilion for socials, group games and meals. Campers can also look forward to a number of nearby attractions such as the Old Blanco County Court, Market Days held on the 3rd Saturday of each month and the Willow City Loop which is a breathtaking spot that's perfect for scenic drives, jogging, dog walking, picnicking and stargazing or sunset viewing. There's also golf courses, the Exotic Resort Zoo, Real Ale Brewing Company, Texas Hill Vineyard and the CN Stars Horse Training and Trail Rides.
