Parrie Haynes Ranch Equestrian Center is settled along the Lampasas River on about 1600 acres of Hill Country terrain. West Fort Hood borders our northern side. The acreage is teeming with natural wildlife and native plants with trails that wind through rolling native prairies, pastures, cedar/oak trees, and crystal clear streams. The Priddy Cabin was built here in 1859. Other homes were scattered across the ranch and have only foundations remaining. Please be careful and respect our heritage. Visit the Parrie Haynes Ranch Museum in the Clubhouse (not big but a labor of love for our history). Families welcome! A full service campground located in Central Texas. The main camp is about 24 acres out of 1600.  Currently, there are 40 complete sites with 30 & 50 amp electricity, water, and pens at individual sites! We have 86 pens and a few corrals. There is a half size arena, round pen, and a fun obstacle course for you and your equine to enjoy. The footing is a combination of sand, caleche, and rock.  My mule is not shod but if your animal is not used to this terrain, I would advise shoes or boots. Keeping Texas Trails open for Equestrians, Hikers, Trail-Runners, and Mountain Bikers.

This RV Park is located on a secluded part of the San Marcos River just outside of Martindale, Texas. It has unique views and great access to the river. It has a spectacular view from the high bluff overlooking the river bend and the "rapids", as well as a couple of great gravel shoal access points that will lead you to great fishing and or lounging on the river. Receded riverbed has water for fishing but it is a bit of a walk to get to it.  Bring your own bait and gear - Please come prepared. Bring your own food, drink, ice, tables, chairs, tents, hammocks, bikes to ride, games, cooking utensils and cookware and any camping related items. There are stores ten to twenty minutes away but dining and shopping is a distance.  - Pets allowed on leash only (no loose dogs to visit your neighbors please)  - No refunds will be given for early departure or due to acts by Mother Nature  - Volleyballs and corn hole bags can be checked out at the Office with an Valid ID, then returned to the Office or Camp Check In Staff. You are welcome to bring your own but please limit play time to two hours if others are waiting to use the area  - No fireworks; No firearms unless it is following State Laws for Open Carry.
