Vinton RV Park is a premier RV park nestled in shaded Oak Trees just off of I-10 in Vinton, Louisiana. We are 20 minutes west of Lake Charles just down the road from Delta Downs Raceway.We have a variety of back-in and pull-through sites that include concrete, gravel, and grass pads. We have 30 & 50 amp sites that have electric, water & sewer. Our pads are really spacious, and offer enough room for you and your family to enjoy the outside.Our amenities include FREE laundry, WIFI, and a swimming pool. A small but spacious 14 site park on 25 acres with 7 pull throughs capable of handling big rigs up to 78 feet long and 7 back-in sites with fire rings. Full hookups with 50/30/20 amp electrical service, fresh city water and sewer hookups. Free WIFI. A walking trail has been created in the rear of the property that goes through dense woods and covers around 15 acres. A doggy park has also been built. Coming very soon, a bathroom with a shower stall!  We also are setting up a small laundromat that will be ready by next week. We also have primitive tent camping sites in the woods at the rear of the property. A very nice time of year to go tent camping! Back in August 2025, we were busy clearing the land to create our family-friendly RV retreat.  In November, we will be pouring slabs for our office and museum as well as developing the infrastructure to include roads and RV sites.  Soon we will have sites with modern RV hookups, a little store with bare essentials, and an eclectic museum that stitches together stories and artifacts from Texas and beyond. Amenities will feature a small conference room for business/video needs, a family-friendly gameroom, a laundry facility, and a private rest room with a shower. Initial services will include a self-serve, diverse library suited for all ages, propane distribution/exchange, and a Texas notary public. We will offer discounts for active duty and veteran military personnel, senior citizens, first responders, and educators.
