Datil Well Campground is located at one of the 15 wells that are along the old Magdalena Livestock Driveway. The area includes 3 miles of hiking trails in piñon-juniper and ponderosa pine woodlands, with scenic views of the San Augustin Plains. The trail and vistas also offer an occasional glimpse of wildlife in a quiet setting. Enjoy picnicking along the small spots of leveled land, and be sure to look up at twilight to see the stars come out in full brightness.

The Three Rivers Petroglyph Site is the biggest collection of petroglyphs in the nation, and is a great place to immerse yourself in the history and rich culture of the southwest. Hikers prepare for some challenging and scenic trails, and great views of the Sierra and Tularosa Basin. The nearby trading post is also world-class, offering campers a pick of the best local arts and craft, each unique piece holding some historic or cultural significance. With 30 sites, and close to the vistas of Sierra Blanca, Oak Grove Campground is one not to miss with its lush forestry and surrounding miles of sky-scraping mountain ranges. Visitors enjoy bicycling and hiking the winding, dirt trails, horseback riding, hunting and picnicking under the shaded areas of the campground.

The Skyline Campground is located south of the famous Monjeau Lookout Tower along Forest Road. Visitors enjoy exquisite scenery, and breathtaking mountain views. With access to the White Mountain Wilderness via the Crest Trailhead. Campers can enjoy a range of activities such as hiking, biking, horseback riding, picnicking, hunting, and of course snowboarding and skiing during the winter months.

Bonito Lake Campground is just a mile from Bonito Lake. Even though there's no fishing at the lake, there is plenty to do such as: camping, hiking and so much sight seeing along the gorgeous green mountain ranges.

The park is just a short drive from Silver City, so when you're ready to explore, there's plenty to see and do. Get ready for museums, historical buildings, the Ancient Indian Ruins, Gila Cliff Dwellings, the Spirit of the Mountain Scenic Byway and a host of other great attractions. Silver City is also known for buzzing with culture and creativity so be sure to visit of one of the art galleries or try a bite from one of the local culinary hotspots. 

Surround yourself with the mixed evergreen/aspen forest of the Aspen Group Campground, located in the Lincoln National Forest, New Mexico. Able to accommodate groups of up to 70 people, this is a popular spot for visitors wanting to experience this lush New Mexico park, as well as the charming village of Cloudcroft. Look forward to some great picnicking and hiking opportunities along the trails at Alamo Peak and Stark Peak. The most popular hike is the Osha Trail, which is a 2.5-mile loop.
