Enjoy swimming, boating and of course excellent fly fishing while you're there. The park is also close to Santa Fe, and is a great stopping point if you're headed that way. The Valve Tenders Group Campground is located in Raton, in Sugarite Canyon. Soak in the gorgeous views of the canyon as well as the sunrises over Lake Alice off in the distance, and fall in love with New Mexico all over again.
