It sits at an elevation of over 6,100 feet between two mountain ranges, and offers plenty of grassy open spaces with great views of the surrounding peaks. Because it's so deep in the forest, keep your eyes open for elk, moose and deer. This campsite is popular because of its proximity to a number of great outdoor activities.
