This area is popular among campers looking to escape into a quiet, lush setting, so get ready for a peaceful environment and easy-going camping. The White house Campground is located in at the Beaverhead-Deerlodge Forest. Get ready for amazing scenes of distant mountain ranges, fresh air from the high elevation and great weather for your Montana adventure. Popular in late spring/summer, the campground is known for ATV paths, mountain biking, hiking trails and horseback riding. During the winter months, skiing and snow mobile-driving is popular, and of course, plenty of fishing at Thunderbolt Creek.  

Halfway between the Glacier National Park and Yellowstone is the Deer lodge KOA. With Clark Fork River running right through it, campers can look forward to excellent fishing for brown trout. Campers can also expect water skiing, boating and swimming, as well as stargazing at night. This is a truly excellent spot for exploring the expansive outdoors of Montana. 

The Spring Hill Campground and Picnic Area is located in the Lodgepole Pine Forests of southwestern Montana, and runs adjacent to the Warms Springs Creek. Campers can look forward to a number of great outdoor activities, all within acres and acres of fresh, gorgeous pines, and at an elevation of over 3,000 feet. Popular at the campground is wildlife viewing; catch an occasional and curious elk, deer, moose and bighorn sheep. Visitors can expect excellent rainbow, cutthroat and brook trout fishing at the lake and plenty of room for horseback riding, mountain biking and hiking.
