Popular at the campground is wildlife viewing; catch an occasional and curious elk, deer, moose and bighorn sheep. Visitors can expect excellent rainbow, cutthroat and brook trout fishing at the lake and plenty of room for horseback riding, mountain biking and hiking. The Beaverhead-Deerlodge National Forest is located close to Georgetown Lake. If you like fishing, you'll absolutely love this lake. Look forward to ice and pond fishing for various species of trout, and calm, beautiful waters for canoeing, kayaking or boating. Water skiing and swimming are also popular at this park. The air is fresh, clean and clear, making it ideal for picnicking and stargazing. The are is quiet, well-maintained and beautiful, and is great for your next Montana getaway. 

The Warm Springs Campground and Picnic Area is located on two acres of gorgeous lodgepole forest. The Warm Springs Creek runs adjacent to the campground and is perfect for fishing and wildlife viewing, with excellent scenes at dawn and dusk. Be sure to pack gear for hiking and mountain biking, and while your outside, keep yours eyes peel for wildlife like elk and curious small animals. Of course, picnicking is another common activity at this park, so remember to pack big spray and blankets!

The Philipsburg Bay Campground is adjacent Georgetown lake, and is perfect for a quiet yet adventure-filled outdoor experience. The site is popular for trout fishing, but is also great for wildlife viewing outside of the water. Keep your eyes peeled for elk, deer, moose and even bears, as well as the sights and smells of the gorgeous lush forests. Canoeing and boating are also popular, as is hiking and horseback riding. The high elevation ensures excellent weather for all kinds of activities, so be sure to plan a long trip to experience it all!
