Country general store, gift shop and fishing supplies. Full service restaurant/bar (limited days). Additional accommodations include rustic cabins and a 4-plex motel. Family recreation, including snowmobiling. Reservations required for RV park, cabins and motel. Drop-Ins are welcome "IF" we have openings! Open May through September.

Located in the beautiful and tranquil town of Beckwourth is the gorgeous Frenchman Campground. The site is home to hundreds of high alpine lakes and thousands of miles of clear-running streams. Pine trees provide moderate to good shade in most sites and at a 5,800-foot elevation, a variety of wildlife make their home in the area.   Activities and amenities: The visibly stunning view isn’t the only thing that the campground has to offer, there are many activities and amenities too, such as: multiple single-family campsites for tent and RV camping, tables, campfire rings with grills, vault toilets, drinking water, firewood, picnic areas and trash collection. Summer activities include hiking, biking and hunting, and winter activities range from snowmobiling to ice fishing and cross-country skiing.   Loaded with fun activities and so much visual beauty, the site will surely make you want to stay longer!
