The Fitness Ceter and RV Park is within a short walking distance to Hank's Market and Butcher Shop (including delicatessen and ice cream shop), Foothills Hardware, and the Foothills Bank. The Foothills Branch of the Yuma County Library is less than a mile away. The RV Service Center and RV Wash is across the street. Three golf courses are within two miles of our location. The Kofa Wildlife Refuge is understandably a great camping spot for the nature enthusiast. Located in Quartzsite, this refuge is home to a thriving ecosystem of various species of trees and desert flora, as well as a vast array of animals. From small ground creatures like hedgehogs, lizards and bats, to large animals like the ringtail lion, bighorn sheep, mule deer, there's no shortage of wildlife at Kofa. The park is also popular for its abundance of caves and crevices, and trails for hiking, biking and mountain biking. Paso Picacho Campground is located five miles north of San Diego in Julian, California, at an elevation of over 5,000 feet. It features 85 full hookup campsites that are big rig friendly for RVs of up to 30 feet. Each campsite has its own dump site. The park allows pets but restricts them to camping and picnicking areas.   Amenities & Activities Campsite amenities offered include picnic tables, fire circles, and grills.
