The Cooper Canyon Trail Camp is located within the beautiful 700,00 acre Angeles National Park just outside of Los Angeles. It is located at 6,300 feet in elevation and designed for skilled campers since it requires a hike-in to get to the sites.   Amenities and Activities   There are six sites available, and while there is sometimes a stream for water, it is suggested that campers bring in all their own supplies. The mountain scenery and the wildlife more than make up for the lack of modern amenities. The Caspers Wilderness Park is located in Trabuco Canyon, California. It an 8,000 acre protected wilderness preserve set among a variety of river terraces and sandstone canyons on the western coast of the Santa Ana Mountains. Activities and Amenities There are lots of amenities and activities to participate in, making it an ideal location for families. There is a family picnic area, playgrounds, barbecue grills, fire pits and an amphitheater. For equestrian enthusiasts, horses are welcomed and there are a variety of horse friendly trails. Wilderness Lakes Preserve Wilderness Lakes Preserve is located a couple of miles off the 215 freeway in a quiet area in Menifee, California.
