Located in Plainfield, Vermont, Onion River Campground has unique site layouts that are not precisely defined but rather more like one big lawn to create a more social atmosphere than a conventional campground. For a more remote site and if a camper does not need electric and water hookups, you can find private hookups in the apple orchard, next to the plum tree  or in the high meadow. There is so much beautiful nature here as well as the amenities you need. There is a great river access for fishing, swimming, tubing, and wading. If you are looking to escape to the great outdoors then this is the place for you! Camping at Onion River is respectful, and kind, and we generally have loads of fun.
