It will depend on the subscription you choose. Most frequently, we see owners select a Central Reservation System along with enhancements for Longterm reservations, Point-of-Sale access, and Marketplace/Distribution Partner access. Some owners find they just need a request system or just the Central Reservation system. Be sure to ask your sales representative or account manager what will be included in your subscription to get the most complete package for your park.
You’ll be asked for a credit card to place on file when you confirm your subscription. This card will be processed at the specific date mentioned during your registration or onboarding. Payments will be based on the subscription you have in place, however most tend to be billed on a monthly basis no matter the length of the subscription.
Getting set up is easy. After speaking with a sales representative to find the best plan for your park, you confirm your subscription and begin onboarding. Our onboarding process requires some general background on your park, details on upcoming reservations you may want to be added to the calendar, and a training session to make sure you have the information you need to start accepting reservations. After onboarding, you’ll have a full team to support any questions you have or help you may need.
It is active until you cancel your subscription. It will auto-renew at the subscription rate you’ve selected. If you ever want to adjust your subscription, reach out to your account manager.
Everyone that partners with Roverpass has access to our outstanding Support team at the same level of care. If you have a custom request, your account manager is happy to help discuss the details of that as a custom need arises.
When processing a credit card within our system, the reservation will have a merchant fee applied. This is typically 2.9% and taken on by the campground, however you do have the option to pass it to be paid by the camper. Depending on the plan you choose, RoverPass will charge a transaction fee per reservation. The fee can be passed to the camper if the campground chooses. Ask your sales representative or account manager how to put this in place if you are interested. In addition to our software offerings, RoverPass can also list your campground on the Roverpass directory and through our distribution partners to drive more traffic to your campground with online reservations. When a camper goes through our directory or distribution partners, there would be a small marketplace fee. The Marketplace will be continuously driving new reservations to you, so if more revenue is your goal then we highly recommend joining our marketplace.
We recommend you do. This allows all campers booking online to see what you have available and can save you numerous calls and emails. We also can help to promote any vacancies you have, helping to get you more bookings.
Roverpass can work for parks of all varieties! Even though you may not be open year-round, campers may still be booking throughout the year for the dates you are open. The benefit to Roverpass is that the camper can book an available site and you’d be able to access your Owner Portal from anywhere you have wifi or cell service to process their registration for your open dates.
There are no costs for editing details of your park. You have the power to go in and adjust these items whenever you need to, as often as you need to.
