Policy and Rules

IF YOU ABANDON YOUR R.V. THE MANAGEMENT MAY TOW IT TO ANY SITE OR PROPERTY OF OUR CHOOSING AFTER THE 6TH DAY OF THE MONTH. YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL FEES AND EXPENSES INCURRED. THE MANAGEMENT WILL NOT TOLERATE ANY ONEROUS, OBNOXIOUS OR OFFENSIVE ACTIVITY OF ANY SORT THAT COULD INTERRUPT OR ADVERSLELY AFFECT THE ENJOYMENT OF OTHER PARTIES UTILIZING OUR FACILITIES. IN THE EVENT OF ANY OFFENSIVE ACTIVITY, IN THE SOLE JUDGEMENT OF THE MANAGEMENT, THE OFFENDING PARTY WILL BE REQUIRED TO LEAVE THE PARK WITHOUT REFUND. PARKING IS RESTRICTED TO A MAXIMUM OF TWO VEHICLES PER SPACE. PARKING OF OTHER VEHICLES ON THE PROPERTY MUST BE APPROVED BY MANAGEMENT. CUSTOMER SHALL INDEMNIFY AND HOLD HARMLESS FROM AND AGAINST ANY AND ALL CLAIMS, DEMANDS, COSTS AND EXPENSES, INCLUDING REASONABLE ATTORNEY FEES ARISING FROM ANY AND ALL DAMAGES OR INJURIES CAUSED BY FIRE, WATER , WIND, CIVIL STRIFE OR ACTS OF GOD, OWNER, AND/OR CUSTOMER ACTIONS FOR INACTIONS (OR THOSE OF THEIR EMPLOYEES, AGENTS OR INVITEES). OR ANY OTHER RELATED TO CUSTOMERS USE OR OCCUPATION OF THE RV SITE. ACCORDING TO LOUISIANA CIVIL CODE SECTION 799.23, ANY GUEST WHO LEAVES WITHOUT PAYING FOR SITE SERVICES OR WHO REFUSES TO PAY FOR SITE WHEN DUE IS SUBJECT TO CRIMINAL PROSECUTION. WE ARE PROVIDING SERVICE HOOK-UPS FOR YOUR RV. WE REQUIRE FULL PAYMENTS IN ADVANCE AND WILL PROSECUTE ANY VIOLATIONS UNDER THE THEFT OF SERVICES LAW. THIS AGREEMENT DOES NOT CONSTITUTE A LAND/TENANT AGREEMENT. PAYMENT FOR SITES IS ENTIRELY FOR SERVICES RENDERED UNDER A HOST/GUEST AGREEMENT. I FULLY UNDERSTAND AND ACCEPT THE TERMS OF THIS AGREEMENT AND ANY ATTACHED PARK RULES. I AGREE TO VACATE THE PREMISES AT THE REQUEST OF MANAGEMENT IF I VIOLATE THESE RULES AND REGULATIONS, WITHOUT A REFUND OF ANY PREPAID FEES. PLEASE INFORM THEM OF THE RULES • PARKING IS RESTRICTED TO (2) AUTOMOLIBES PER SITE. EXTRA CARS AND UTILITY TRAILERS MUST BE APPROVED BY MANAGEMENT • ALL VEHICLES MUST BE PARKED WITHOUT BLOCKING OTHER SITES OR DRIVEWAYS. IF YOU DRIVE OVER THE GRASS AND DAMAGE THE GRASS IT YOU MUST PAY TO FIX ITOR REPAIR IT BACK TO THE ORIGINAL CONDITION INCLUDING NEW GRASS. • NO MAJOR REPAIRS OROIL CHANGES ALLOWED TO YOUR VEHICLE • AREA AROUND YOUR RV SPACE IS TO BE KEPT CLEAN AT ALLTIMES. • WESTGATE RV PARK ACCEPTS NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY DAMAGE(NO MATTER THE CAUSE) TO RV’S, CARS, ANY LOST, STOLEN ITEMS, OR PERSONAL INJURY. • NO CAMPER WASHING IS ALLOWED

Area Tips

The Westgate RV park is centrally located to the nearby Walk-ons, Popeyes Chicken, Subway restaurants.  Others eateries include Chinese, Lebanese and Mexican cuisines.  Also, Rouses grocery store is only minutes from the park.   The park is also near CVS and Jett's service stations. Mt. Pleasant Rd connects the west and east ends of Zachary giving direct access to Lane Memorial Regional Hospital and The Home Depot.

It was good for what we needed but probably would not stay there again. It rained all Saturday morning which I know they had no control over but it was all low and muddy in the parking spots with no paving or gravel, just ruts. Power, water, and sewer connections were all at the very back of the parking spots. Power and water reached but I had to hook up before we left and move over to miss the power pole and back up way past the connections for the two sewer hoses I had end to end to reach to dump. The dump connection was about a foot above the ground so I had to pick up the hose and "walk" it out to empty it. There was no WIFI. I'm sorry that I can't give a better review.

Good Morning James, I am happy to hear that we met your needs at Westgate RV Park, but not happy to hear that you were met with some inconveniences due to the weather and other park amenities. I apologize for any hardships that we may have caused. Prior to your arrival, it rained at the park nearly everyday creating some very soft spots. We are in the process of making improvements at Westgate and adding Wi-FI is one of them. I hope that our future improvements will earn your business back. Thank you, Robert Snowden, Owner

I'm very glad to to have this nearby option for parking our trailer but it is "no frills" - the grass/leaves could use some attention so that the gravel for the sites could be a bit better defined and the water hookup was difficult to use because it faced the sewer connection. Aside from addressing some of these minor issues this is exactly as advertised.
