This has become our regular overnight stop on our way up north. Clean, friendly and always welcoming. The cable and WiFi are free and excellent. Easy access, both on and off I5, as well as to the campsites. They even sell propane on site.

Campground Response

Thank you for your excellent review! We are glad you enjoyed your stay, and look forward to your next visit.

Booked a site for one night online. We were after hours pulling in but our reservation was waiting for us in an envelope with our name on it. The site was easy to find and even had a cone with our name on the sign that said “reserved”. We pulled in, hooked up to water and power, and had no issues whatsoever. Would totally recommend this place as a stop over place en route somewhere. It was quiet, organized and easy to pull into and get set up. We appreciated that very much after a long day of driving.

Campground Response

Thank you for your positive review. We look forward to serving you again next time you are passing through.

Easy stop on our way to coo’s bay. Right off 5, clean, and quiet. Great little dog park for our pups.

niran cullins

This is one our VERY FAVORITE “hideaway” parks! Family owned and operated; neat as a pin; wonderfully nice family, and super quiet location. We stop here whenever we’re on our way home from points north..... Highly, highly recommended !

Campground Response

Steve and Carol, Thank you so much for your awesome review and very kind words. We love being your "hideaway" and hope to see you again very soon.

Very clean campsite and Covid-19 conscious. Stayed one night passing through. Excellent cable and wifi. Will use this campground again.

Campground Response

Thank you Terri, We look forward to seeing you again.

Jim Gill

The park was nice and clean. Easy pull through site (44' 5th wheel) and easy to negotiate around the park. The sites seemed a little close but we didn't hear any of our neighbors. We will definitely stay here again!

Campground Response

Thank you Jim, We appreciate the review and look forward to seeing you again

David Carpenter

Decent stay. Nothing super good or super bad, with the exception of the wi-fi. Wi-fi was horrible. They had an option to buy other wi-fi for 2.95 a night...but I shouldn’t have to buy an upgrade. Super easy pull throughs.

Campground Response

Hi David, Thank you for your feedback and for taking the time to write us a review. I sincerely apologize for the Wifi issues. We were definitely having problems with it due to a storm when you were here. I do want to clarify that the upgrade for $2.95 per night does not apply to overnight guests. Overnight guests are getting the upgraded wifi for no additional cost. Safe travels and we do hope to see you again sometime.

Great stay

Campground Response

Thank you Paul, come back soon!

We stayed here on our way to shelter after Covid19 warnings. Check in was done quickly and safely. The manager handed our paperwork thru the window and walked to our site. Waiika is easy access from I-5, level sites, nice people, fenced dog play area. Comfort stations all closed for our safety. Thank you.

Campground Response

Thank you Kathy. Stay safe and come back soon

Sue Nichols

We’ve stayed here twice and both times it has fit our needs perfectly. Easy access from the I 5, a fenced pet area, level pull-through sites. The popcorn offered at check in is a nice touch. The only complaint I have is the about the text that Rover Pass sent me at 5am this morning asking me to write this review.

Randall Griffith

Level gravel sites with room to park the tow vehicle. Wifi was fantastic!

Patricia Foreman

Great people! Level sites. Clean bathrooms. Great prices. What more could you ask for.

Campground Response

Thank you, Patricia. We appreciate your feedback and look forward to seeing you again soon

Neil Warren

Love this park. Clean, quiet and great set up. Owners were friendly and liked the fact that they walked us to our spot. Spending another night there next week. Keep up the great work

Campground Response

Thank you Neil. We will look forward to seeing you again.

Waiikaku is not a destination park. It is what I refer to as a “way station”. Typically, way stations leave a lot to be desired. Not Waiiaka. Lots of very long pull through sites so I didn’t have to disconnect my tow vehicle. Great after hours service. Clearly marked complete package for me at the front door. Clearly saved and marked pull through site. Terrific little dog park. Everything, everywhere, is neatly maintained. The couple that handled us was professional, efficient, friendly, and fun. We’ve been there twice on one long trip and from now on, anytime we are headed north from the bay area, we are laying over at Waiikaku. Even the people that we meet there are cool. The couple from New Zealand was a blast.

Campground Response

Thank you David, We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience at Waiiaka. We look forward to seeing you again soon. Safe Travels. Trish

Great staff. Friendly and helpful. Clean, level gravel spots, shaded park. Easy on off freeway. Great little burger joint with Umqua ice cream in yummy crazy flavors. Casino up the hill with shuttle. Wonderful spot to stay going north or south. Discounts too. Fresh popcorn on check in lol. Recommend highly

Campground Response

Friendly owner - Trish. We were guided to our site by staff member. He assisted us in parking and lining up our utilities and slide. Big sites with pull throughs. Nice trees. Casino Shuttle to casino and restaurant. Bathrooms aren’t fancy but they are clean like the rest of the park. Safe location. We would definitely stay here again on our way to area sites or Oregon.

Campground Response

Thank you Alan, We appreciate your kind words and the great review and look forward to seeing you again soon! Safe Travels, Trish

Easiest check in I have ever seen. Office was closed for extended lunch but envelope with our name and site number was available. Perfect place to stay as you are traveling from California to Oregon.

Campground Response
