Hey guys- in spite of relentless rain and the fact that almost nobody was there when I visited in mid-September I had a good time, and felt very welcomed. Hope to return someday when the su is out.

Loved this place, even near the end of the season with a spot of rain.

First time camping during Labor Day weekend. What an amazing experience, everyone was nice and friendly. This isn’t a camp ground, it’s a small city. The music, the guys, the themes, I never expected camping would be like this. When it was time to go I was sad because I didn’t want to leave. I am looking forward to coming back next year for another fabulous weekend. Thank you so much for this experience!

Will be back, learned camping on the lower side is really fun.

I had the best time Labor Day weekend made née friends and had a great bday celebration!

The whole booking experience was great, very digital and seamless for the most part. To get 5 stars I suggest having the tent size dimensions for the tent sites when booking. But, I heard the management say that they are intending to make that happen, which would be great! (I have a large tent)

Our first time here and even though it was the middle of the week was a awesome experience. Will definitely be back.

Had a great weekend! The campsite is awesome 👌 stayed in 11 and the view was amazing. Super nice people running things as well.

This past weekend was my first time camping at TRC. I hadn’t been camping in a very long time and never solo. I was very apprehensive at first but I’m challenging myself to venture outside my comfort zone. I am so happy that I did! I had a really incredible time! Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. I made some amazing new friends. I was concerned about not having cell service in the beginning but quickly realized that unplugging from the world was exactly what I needed and it allowed me to reconnect with nature and with my community. This was exactly the reboot that I needed! Thank you everyone at TRC! Can’t wait to visit again!

Greatly improved reservation system over last year. Had a parking issue and Steve, Mike and Bill jumped in quickly to resolve it. TRC taking Covid seriously made for a much more relaxed atmosphere. The bear issue is well handled and members can feel safe force they’re informed and WE DO WHAT’S ASKED of us. Thanks to the members who were there this week and to the board for planning ahead!! I had a great time!

The TRC experience is multifaceted. From a solitary midweek stay to a mind bending weekend party, you can get it. This last camp was a midweek one when my party of 2 was the only ones in the lower campground. Quiet and calm in 11. Free to wander as you please and definitely over packed. Week before well the other end of the scale. Will be back soon.

I love TRC, have been coming for 15+ years. Plenty of space to spread out and hang out with friends, and make new ones. My only gripe is the cheap toilet paper supplied in the porta potties.

Wow what a beautiful area. After years of living in Seattle, finally bit the bullet and did it. I love it — however, I don’t think it for novice campers. The birds and forest are amazing. Everyone was friendly and helpful for this first time solo camper. I will be back, and yes, there are two problem bears. I didn’t have any food near my site and never saw the bears. I will be back — pablopaul

That was a damn good time! Myself and three other non-penis having queer friends camped and I truly have never felt more welcome somewhere. Living in Seattle can be a little segregating between the gay men and the “everything in betweeners”, so I was really surprised. I feel like I made friends that will be forever friends. I never got a chance to have any gay elders my entire life and this really felt like a hug around my heart and gave me hope that not everything good in this world is dead. The campsites were beautiful- every single one! Nudity was so chill and I even let my boobs breathe openly with the utmost comfort around everyone. The bears of course picked us to terrorize, but we didn't cook at our camp after that hellish day. It definitely didn't deter me from purchasing a yearly membership and blocking off most of the summer to get back up there. Thank you so much boys. ❤️

While not TRC's fault, the constant gun fire and explosions in the neighborhood are very disturbing and made me feel like I was camping at a gun range or military base. Also the 2 bears that kept coming into our campsite looking for food was very frightening. Again not TRC's fault but I won't be going back until the gun fire and bears are gone.

Campground Response

The bears have been a bigger challenge this year than we have ever experienced in the past. Please reach out to me at - we are working with Fish & Wildlife on mitigation strategies and I'd like to get an account of your experience. Jon Delage, VP Ops

This was my first time camping at TRC. The staff was very welcoming and helpful in getting us acclimated to the camp. I felt welcome everywhere I went both upper and lower areas. I will definitely be back!

One of the best camping experiences we’ve ever had! My husband and my first time out at TRC and we met the most amazing, friendly, and beautiful people ever that welcomed us in with open arms!
