We have stayed here several times but this time didn’t go so well. We didn’t know that you took away fire pits except from a few spots so to get one we had to unhook and move the camper. The new sight was fine but the fire pit was filled with trash. Bathrooms weren’t as clean as they usually are either.

Very noisy. Huge plane’s almost every half hour. Road traffic too. We’re not city people so that might be why we didn’t care for this campground. We were put in a parking lot area. Bathrooms were clean, front desk ladies were extremely nice!!!

Convenient to stop at overnight while traveling across the country. Flat, level parking at our assigned space, long enough we didn't need to unhitch the tow car. Clean bathrooms & showers. We took advantage of the laundry, very reasonably priced. Traffic noise from nearby streets & interstate wasn't bad at all, but we were surprised when a couple of planes flew overhead coming in for a landing!

The campground lacks a decent playground. The management must take Sundays off, no one available in the office and hours to receive a return call.

Campground Response

Hi there, we are closed on Sundays so that staff may have 1 day with their family. We do make certain to post not only on your email the afterhours number to reach staff, but also have the number posted on our front office door.

Great camping area. We love staying here. Our spot is nice, we don’t have to unhook the trailer, and plenty of room to play with the pups and let them stretch their paws. Nice sites, always nice and clean and quiet.

We had stay here before a couple years ago. Quite a few long term campers with lots of stuff outside the campers. The park was much cleaner this time around. Will move it up my list when we are in the area.

Campground Response

We are so happy that you enjoyed your stay and look forward to having you again.

Well maintained campground along Interstate. Traffic noise was prevalent and there seems to be a lot of loud mufflers in the area. Arrived on a Sunday when office was closed and reservation was taped on bulletin board. For a one night stay it was OK.

They parked us so close to the highway that all you heard was traffic. It was a parking lot. Airplanes overhead. No garbage pickup. Very basic. Poor internet.

Campground Response

Hello Debra, With out knowing your last name I am uncertain of which site you were in. I would assume a pull through. All of our pull thru sites (except for 2 premium pull thru sites) are in the west campground. We make certain that photos of these sites are posted not only on our website but here in Rover Pass so that there are no surprises when you arrive. The pull thru sites are on asphalt and offer little to no shade or grass, however the sites are level and have full hook-ups. Many enjoy them for there easy in and out as they head to their next destination. we have 3 large garbage containers located across the park giving every one easy access to them with typically a short walk over to the dumpster. We also are told be many that when inside the campers they really don't hear the highway noise, that its really no difference than stay at the other 2 campgrounds in the area that too are along the highway. We are sorry at you did not enjoy your stay.

We like the campground, but the 3 times we had reservations someone was in our spot. No one was in the office. We had to leave the last time, and did not get a refund. I had a copy of the reservation each time, but it didn’t do us any good.

Campground Response

HI Cindy, I am so so to hear this. Could you please call the office at 605-332-1173 so we can discuss this further?

If I could give a 6 I would. Tower Campground is set amongst some nice shade trees and is very clean. The reason I am giving it such a high rating is the Staff, during my stay I was under a great deal of stress. My RV had some issues and my service dog which is truly my family is getting old and had suffered a medical emergency. The office staff was very empathetic and did everything they could to help me out.

Much of the park is nice and shady, then there is the "parking lot" section. Just an open area, all paved with hookups. No picnic tables or areas to grill and sit out. Good for just overnighting. Close to all Sioux Falls activities. Close to I-29. Follow the directions!

Great in town RV park! Clean, secure restrooms and laundry room. The area we were in could use some shade. We had some 80 degree days!

Just OK, Dawg. The staff was friendly enough but the campsite was a mess. Trash was everywhere and the campground did nothing about it. The only thing separating the campsites from the interstate is a line of trees, so if you stay here, you shouldn't mind the sound of traffic 24 hours a day. Good enough for a short stay. We stayed there to give our new camper a shakedown. There is a very nice Hy-Vee about two miles away for all your forgotten needs. Word to the wise: approach the campground from Marion Road. If you use the I-29 exit you will have to do a very difficult U-turn to enter the campground.

Arrived at campground after midnight and instructions on were to go and codes for facilities was printed up and easily understood. A very nice stay and nice neighbors.

Not our best stay. Arrived with confirmation in hand during the check in. Told us they’d need to move us to a different site. Then gave us a map showing a third site highlighted. We went there. Then a call from corporate saying we’d need to move because a group was coming and they wanted to camp together. I said no way and the acquiesced. The site was on blacktop and the temps were high, so we cooked despite AC. On the bright side, utilities were good and we were close to the falls in town plus a free concert at the Levvitt Sioux Falls amphitheater.
