Great place to go for dive. They have several entry docks and dive platforms to practice up on your skills . There are plenty of points of interest to get your navigation down. Book an Rv site and stay the weekend.

Campground Response

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a review! We love our divers!

Known as an excellent scuba training facility, the Scuba Ranch is also the perfect place to get away and look at the stars. The staff is outstanding and while the primary operation is scuba instruction, they continue to invest in the property and expand the RV campgrounds. They provide 30/50AMP and water hookups and have a dump station on site. It is better than the state parks for those that enjoy scuba diving and their ‘support’ families.

Campground Response

Yay! Thank you so much for taking the time to leave this great review!

As always LOVED staying here!! The cabin is massive, has air conditioning to allow you to be at the comfort level you choose, and has plenty of outlets to charge phones, use CPAP machines, etc. it is very flexible as well - we bring an inflatable mattress due to spinal issues and sleep on that rather than the provider cots, and there’s plenty of room for the 6 cots and our bed in the cabin. The cabin is clean, and has a vacuum and garbage bin should you need to clean up crumbs or anything else. Most importantly the hosts are among the kindest people on earth!

Campground Response

Awww...thank you so much for taking the time to leave this sweet review :') These words warm our heart! So glad you've enjoyed it and we'll see you again soon!

Wonderful place to camp with water and electric hookups and a dump station that is nice and clean on the way out. We had a relaxing fun weekend of camping and scuba diving with friends. The Scuba Ranch personnel are very helpful and friendly for anything you might need. This is our favorite place to camp!

Campground Response

The ranch is clean and well organized. We camped in RV, in August. Water and electric at site. And shade. Docks are well maintained for entry to lake. My only complaint is the water was very cloudy and couldn’t see my buddy. I felt clostophobic and got out of water. Then snorkel around lake. Rented a tank for nothing.

Campground Response

I'm so sorry you had this experience...normally visibility is better than it has been recently. We are committed to not treating the lake with chemicals to conserve the wildlife and natural environment...but with that comes cycles just like the weather. The water level has been so low from the drought, that alone will make it worse. Usually these cycles take care of themselves with time. Hopefully next time you come back it will be better!

It a pet friendly, cool, clean small part of a 737 fuselage with terrific hosts and staff. The SR team had a concession stand open this past weekend with the best nachos & Frito pies w/ jalapenos! The small cabin is furnished with 2 Coleman cots, window A/C, plus 4 electrical outlets next to the A/C . It is absolutely perfect when diving is the focus. We bring a foldable table, 2 ultralight chairs, propane burner for the skillet, collapsible electric kettle, food & beer coolers, Igloo 5 Gal water dispenser & our Catahoula mix for our Scuba Camping in the 737. Bathrooms include a port-a-potty maybe 50 yards and restrooms/ warm showers up at the entrance.(showers usually have a body soap, shampoo and conditioner.) All the divers, shops & clubs are usually friendly & helpful, but DIVER NOTE - Most Pavilions are Private but all the Docks are also for the Paying Public, just be courteous & wait or swim to the next dock if there are classes in session on the original dock.

Thank you so much for taking the time to leave this great review! We love our divers!

The owners and staff were incredibly nice, accommodating and helpful. The camping was great and accessibility for getting into the water was also wonderful. Other than needing a few more things to see on the bottom this is probably my favorite Scuba park destination!!!
