The Meadow Campground is beautiful! The rustic cabins are very cozy. We stayed during a cold spell and the heater kept the cabin very warm-so warm we had to turn it off at times! The outhouses are conveniently located and the shower house was very clean. Thanks for an amazing stay and the delicious coffee!

We loved our stay in Cabin #5 (Pawnee)! The cabin was comfortable, the shower house was great to have, and the coffee house was fantastic! Beautiful campground with something for every type of camper.

It was just a gravel lot with hook ups not impressed contracted early to get pull through #2 got there and they had someone else in the spot got a crappy lot up front lots of highway noise won't go back

The campground, cafe and people were great. The water pressure was terrible. You share water with other sites. Probably would have to think hard about going back because of the water pressure.

Campground was spotless, easy check in, the staff was so friendly and helpful, and the coffeehouse was second to none. Great place: we will be back!!!

Check in was seamless after telephone reservation. Clean, well taken care of property. Highly recommend for camping or cabins (if you don't mind a walk to use the restroom). Nice tent sites right on river bank with nice fire pits. RV sites had nice long gravel pads, all full hookup. Very close to Hannibal if visiting the sites without being in town. Didn't try the coffee though the shop looked well appointed serving Kaldi coffee. Fans of felines will very much enjoy this place.

My family stays here in the cabins every year. We love the rustic, cute little cabins and the coffee house is so wonderful!! The only downfall is the walk to the bathroom. But the bathroom and showers are always nice and clean. We will continue to stay here whenever we come in to town!!

We had Site 11. Electric pole was on passenger side of site. Sites were close together and there was no shade. Only pit toilets in campground area. A small bathhouse was near the entrance. There were two showers that were shower stall only (no private drying/dressing area), and there were two very small toilet stalls. It looked like most of the sites were occupied by permanent residents. It was ok for an overnight and get back on the road type of stay which is what we did. Would have appreciated a nice shower though.

After camping at State Parks in Michigan, Wisconsin, Georgia, and Arkansas -- we expected a much more pleasant experience. This place had good reviews, yet it was a cleared lot full of full-time RVers (mostly construction workers?). No issues -- just not our "cup of tea". We did not sample the coffee.

The spacious cabin was clean and ready for our group of 7. We loved having walkable access to the coffee shop each morning staffed with friendly people. Great selection at the coffee shop/store. The float trip was seamless. It was perfect for us!

Cabin was amazing comfortable bed. AC unit worked well. Only suggestion is to have a mini fridge in each cabin. Also all fire pits need grates for cooking or web site needs to inform people they need to bring a grill

Relaxing campground but not much to do as far as exploring creeks or woods. But there is kayak rentals. Coffee house was alright. Overall experience was pretty pricey for what you actually get here. Unless you like to sit inside your camper the whole time or staying for a rest spot, I don’t really recommend for the adventurists of campers.

Had a wonderful peaceful time here in Cabin #3. Shower house is nice clean and always open. Staff is wonderful and helpful! Loved the coffee house right there also. Definitely recommend and will be visiting again.

I've camped numerous places in the last 25 years and this place was the biggest disappointment yet. First of all, it should NOT be called a campground because it's more like a trailer park since so many of the RVs are permanently docked there. Second - I reserved campsite 23 and after arriving, we see the tiniest site that would require backing even a small camper up almost against another RV that appears to have settled in for long term. That site 23 should neve be rented out because it's really not a campsite. Also, I chose it because it appeared to be nearest available site to a toilet. Well, it's just an outhouse that I would not send even an enemy into. Also, the website goes on & on about their coffee house (one reason we chose this campgrd.), yet, it was not even open Monday morning at 7:15. It seems a place that serves coffee would make it available even before 7am. Whole place was just a big mistake that I would never recommend.

Campground Response

Hey Ken, We're so sorry you didnt have a postive experience at our campground! Site #23 is the furthest away from our shower (see the map on our website). If we were aware that the site didn't fit your needs we would have moved you to a different spot immediately! As for the Coffee House not being open on Monday, It looks like you checked in Monday afternoon and checked out Tuesday morning. Our Coffee House is not open on Tuesdays. (see business hours on Roverpass, our website, and Google). So sorry for any confusion! Feel free to give us a call anytime if you have any questions, or if you'd like to leave us with any additonal feedback!
