This CG is almost entirely geared towards seasonal Campers, not short-term visitors. Seasonal campers may enjoy the quiet, boating, fishing, etc. Visiting RVrs will not enjoy the rutted, narrow road into sites (there are 5!). Short, narrow gravel sites are very unlevel. No WIFI. No cable. 1 bar on AT&T cells. No campstore. It's a long way into town or other sights in the area. Just not worth it.

I appreciated their helpfulness when I couldn't make my reservations due to complicated health issue, They were quick and more than satisfactory. We will go there next year.

great campground spacey sites , just no office we had to change our dates and it was hard to do

Brenda Donahue

Great campground! Our site had everything you need for an rv - water, electric and sewer, picnic table snd a fire pit. Everyone is friendly. Good place to stay!

Regina Hodziewich

We had a wonderful time camping. Our site was large and very comfortable. The campground was clean, and everyone was so nice.

As always a great experience and a great place to stay.

We wanted a full hook up campground and this was our best choice. The reviews focused on events and not sites as this is a primarily seasonal campground with limited daily sights. The owners were friendly, responsive and helpful. We had site R11 which was the best daily site which was directly across from the bathroom. Most daily sites were in an open field. The pool was clean and enjoyable and there was a nice playground for kids. The waterfront that is pictured is across the road and in another section of the campground that is all seasonal campers. The public area is limited in space and amenities. The bathrooms were clean and the showers were free and had plenty of hot water. There is no WIFI offered. The water quality was not great and we opted to buy bottled water.

Wonderful time at Sunset Rock! My husband, I and our toddler stayed at the campground while attending a wedding last weekend. The check-In process and amenities were wonderful. Quiet and quaint place to hang your hat. Highly recommend!

A wonderful campground to bring kids. Lots of fishing. Biking. Hiking, there’s even one of earths oldest coral reefs located just down the road. My kids loved going there. Overall, great people. Great community and usually weekends there’s something going on the whole family can take part of. Love this place!

The lots are huge, the facilities and pool are clean, it's a busy community with many things happening. We witnessed a Dart tournament, and morning workouts! Bring your water shoes if you want to go out in the lake water past your calves.

Huge grassy sights with a mixture of shade and sun. Everyone is super friendly. The bath house is very clean with free showers. Nice pool and a nice sandy beach area on the lake. Stage in view from the pool so we were able to watch the amazing band whike staying cool on Saturday night and a second stage viewable from the beach area where they had an open mic night on Friday. Also has a really nice playground if you have kids.

Very friendly and accommodating staff! We were welcomed within minutes of arriving on our site which made it feel so much for inviting. Well maintained pool, laundry and large playground on site. They even deliver wood and ice to your campsite! We will definitely be back!!

Excellent - 5 stars, thumbs up all around. Had a wonderful time camping (2 nights) in a pop up in the T3 area. Nice shaded site, lots of room, open field across the road to the clean bathrooms, wood delivered, ice delivered, all we had to do was relax ! Check in was a breeze and the managers were awesome. Huge place with a nice pool and great beach on the lake. Great community of seasonal families, happy and respectful. Wish I could have stayed for the rest of the summer!! Thank you!

John Adams

No power at the site. But everything was okay other than that.

Great spot, nice people!

Sites 6,7,8 and 9 need a better access road. We stayed at site 8 and had no way to get our camper out in the morning when it was time to check out. While we were there it was an issue with where to even walk in and out of the camp site. It would be nice if the bathrooms had hooks in the showers for towels/clothes etc. Maybe even some sort of stall mat. Overall it was a nice campground and would come back again! Mike & Tammy were great to work with.
