Nice place, would stay again if we are in the area.

Wonderful customer service. I can't remember the name of the lady who helped us, but she greeted us with a smile and sincerity. The sites are set up diagonally and all are pull-through. There was a grassy area the length of the site and about 10 feet wide. The bathroom/shower is very clean, but there is only one room, which is a downfall. Especially when a lady is drying her long hair. Downtown (a couple of restaurants, an eclectic cool store with antiques, clothing, and jewelry, and a grocery store) is about .5 miles from Sunrise. We rode our e-bikes to the natural hot springs 8 miles past Eagleville (48 miles round trip) it was a beautiful ride on excellent pavement, and few vehicles/trucks. We ate and Woody's and Country Hearth. We enjoyed talking with Brian at Woody's. Country Hearth's portions for both breakfast and dinner were huge, and Woody's portions were very small. The ribs and coleslaw were excellent at Woody's. Both dinner menus are rather pricey, but to stay open I am sure they need to boost the price. Breakfast at Country Hearth was excellent (not the dinner). The pastries (turnovers and cinnamon rolls) are not ready until about 10 am, so if you are an early riser grab one the night before. Overall, we would come back to explore the area and we would stay at Sunrise RV Park.

Clean, cozy, quiet, and very accommodating. I have stayed there numerous times over the years, and owner, Susie and staff are the best. I would give 7 stars if possible.

This was my second time staying at the campground. It is a great spot to stay, simple, quiet and the hosts are always friendly! As a female traveling alone, I feel safe here, which is great knowing I have a secure place to sleep on my travels. Thank you and see you next year!

We have recently had business on Surprise Valley and have had two extended stays at Sunrise Motel. I absolutely love it. The owners are warm and welcoming. They are fine people. There establishment is very clear. The gardens are well tended. We enjoyed meeting the other guests. There is a friendly feeling among the people staying there. Many of the people we met have been going there yearly for decades now. I can understand why. There is something about the place that makes you want to return.

This a wonderful and inviting little motel. It also has room for RV’s. It is close to a market and a sweet cafe. Susie is so kind and helpful! She even has the rooms decorated with antiques!

Your options are very limited for that area. The price was right for what is provided. There was a lot of ants in my room, the sink did not drain and the mattress had a low spot in it.

Super clean and affordable. I will keep this as one of my go-to motels in the future. Great if you are on a motorcycle too. The owners are great people as well - I very much enjoyed my stay here.
