There have been many improvements since we visited last. There are many new pull through pads. Gordon’s grandfather built the park in the 50’s and it has been in the family ever since. Only alert is there are no bathrooms, so you must be self contained.

Shade trees really helped keep the rig cool. Passing trains weren't loud and provided a restful night's sleep. Close neighbors on either side were well-behaved and entertained with their TVs. Power was clean and had no issues. Asphalted parking spaces that backed onto the river were level.

Campground Response

Thank you, Michelle:) We value your input!

My first review was a mistake. We full-time RV and I got the two mixed up. The first one was for Sleepy Bear in Swan Valley Idaho. Riverside RV was good. It's neat and clean. We were there for 2 nights. I made the reservations over the phone and they were very pleasant. Make sure you stop in the 1st JC Penneys and tour Mr Penneys house.

Campground Response

Thank you! So glad you stopped & saw the JC Penny 1st store ;) and stayed with us. We’ll check out the other park too to see what we can do better! The Riverside family✨

Nice campground. Easy drive to The Tetons. It is about an hour away but the drive is beautiful. Stop in Victor for a pizza at Wildlife Brewing great experience there. Also have a bagel in Wilson. Enjoy your bagels by the river.

Campground Response

Thank you Kim, we hear we are a perfect stop before the Tetons & Yellowstone parks. Many people try to get into the parks early so we’re glad to have a peaceful stop to hopefully set the tone. Thanks for letting us know. Safe travels. The Riverside family✨

For starters, the owner wasn’t there and someone else had to call her. There are no bathrooms (except for 2 portajohns), no shower, and no laundry. The cost of $50 was ridiculous. There was also a head of an antelope near the portajons in a tin bucket which had been there at least since hunting season. The reservation could only be made online and the AAA discount was not applied. Would we recommend this stop?! No way!

Campground Response

Thank you, Brian for your input. It is important to our family that our guests have a good experience. We value your input to improve. Yes we have a self check in with instructions to call upon arrival as someone has the phone close. We do make reservations via phone if you need us to. My 91 year old mom is the owner, matriarch:) and my brother & I take care. We try hard to have someone greet. The restrooms were closed over 30 years ago when my grandmother passed. We have considered opening but not sure if possible. We do post on our booking site no restroom however some don’t see. We have tried to make it clearer. Yes I noticed someone recently left the antelope as a gift 🤷‍♀️ some people collect them. It was removed. We are only approved by AAA & don’t have a discount program with them however we do give Good Sam & military. We hope the rest of your travels went well. We appreciate you staying with us! The Riverside family✨

I wish we had known there would be no bathroom or shower facility. It's not great for people camping. You're packed in, side to side with other rvs, so there's very little room between your picnic table and your trailer on one side and your neighbor on the other. Should I mention the train tracks? I about jumped out of my skin when the train horn blew around 5am. It's a crowded trailer park. No one in the "check in office" when we came and no one ever stopped by as they said they would.

Campground Response

We are sorry, Todd since it is important to our family for our guests to enjoy. Im thinking you must have been in our smaller spots nestled in the big trees along the river bank. Yes the train is across the river. We have asked for a a quiet zone however they have to whistle coming around the bend if there are workers for safety. However some of them get a little whistle happy. 🙃 It is interesting we’ve had some guests come for the trains. We do have a self checkin system to call upon arrival for assistance and have addressed in our advertising no restrooms. We added the porta johns for extra use. We apologize that was not clear and will work to make things better. Thank you for your input and staying with us and happy travels! The Riverside family ✨

Beautiful spot! Wonderful owners! We enjoyed our stay very much! The ONLY downside was the spotty WI-FI. Not their fault but a tiny bit frustrating when trying to continue working while out of town. But….. we WILL be back! We LOVED being there!
