Nicely prepared camp site and the trees made it very private; we couldn't see our neighbors 30 feet away on either side. Quiet area. Did not realize that there was no running water but Port-o-lets and tanked water were clean and available.

This place was cool. Good spot by the river and space for the car and tent and much more. The whole experience was almost ruined by the group next to use however. This group played loud music and shouted drunkenly till 12 then after being asked to stop for the night by me, resumed it at 730 Am. There needs to be a set of camp rules that are enforced for quiet hours so people can sleep without being disrespected like we were with the group next to us. Great place and site, needs rules for quiet hours though.

This was a beautiful campground, with some spots with great privacy. Took the trail to the river in the morning, for a beautiful start to the day.

Great campsite right by the river, not a lot of sites so it’s quiet but you need to make your reservations early. There’s a small playground for the kids (or adults). The owner was really nice and came to my campsite when I called to help us with any questions.

I was on my way to Storm king after 3 nights of backpacking at Enchanted Valley. I booked this campground after reading great reviews and about the owner. I was given campground # 5, which is the best and we all loved it. The entire campground is clean, very well maintained and I strongly recommend. Also., there is a pantry store next by owned by the owner of the campground.. and a subway and gas station within 2 miles..

I give all the stars of this review to Mitch who manages the campground. The campground is just off the road and very rustic. Each site is decent sized and has a table and spot for a fire. No facilities besides potable water and portapotties, which is why we chose not to stay. We were camping off of motorcycles and needed a bit more. If you have a camper/RV or like roughing it the place will suit your needs. The real star of that place is Mitch. He is the friendliest, most helpful gentlemen you could ask for. When we told him we couldn’t stay he said to log in and ask for a refund. Before we had reached our next destination he had already issued one himself. Total class act.
