Pomarosa RV Park is a spacious, gated RV Community three miles from Bandera, and is a great place for an authentic Texas getaway. Near the campground are a number of unique, local attractions such as the Bandera City Park, Frontier Times Museum and Bandera Natural History Museum. Nature-lovers flock to this area each year to enjoy the Hill Country State Natural Area for scenic viewing, hiking, biking and exploring. Campers can also visit the Dixie Dude and Silver Spur Ranches, as well as horseback riding tours across the area, and wildlife tours. Canoeing and kayaking at nearby rivers is also a common pastime among locals and visitors alike. Urban adventurers can also look forward to excellent, local bars and restaurants, gift stores and shops, country western halls, golf courses and even a shooting range. The park is also 45 miles from San Antonio attractions like the the Alamo, the Riverwalk, Six Flags: Fiesta Texas, and some of the best Tex-Mex restaurants in the world. It's also just three miles from the dining and entertainment the town of Bandera has to offer. This is a really beautiful park that I am very glad we found. The staff was very nice and accommodating for all of our needs. The 50 sites they had were not only spacious (extra wide for slide outs) but they had some great amenities that included: 20/30/50 amps, full hookups, certified water, water and sewer connections, and more. There weren’t any activities to do but that wasn’t our intentions when we stayed here. We wanted a nice peaceful and relaxing time here to spend together as a family and that is exactly what we got. I look forward to bringing my family here again. - Review provided by RV Park Recommendations & Reviews Facebook Group

Passport America park - but when we arrived we found out there was no wifi or TV but was still $25 per night. An average park - gravel spots - not all that much room. - Review provided by RV Park Recommendations & Reviews Facebook Group

Campground Response

I am doubtful about your stay in our park. The reasons are clear to me; our prices are $35 Dollars to $50 Dollars. Passport America members must stay 5 days in order be qualified therefore most of them get mad us and go somewhere else or write bad reviews. We were told countless time that our sites are the most spacious! Regarding to the site pads we don’t have gravel on our sites it is called compacted-caliche. Yes one thing you got it right; we don’t have TV! We have noticed that high quality RVers have their own satellite wherever they go. But we have been providing free Wi-Fi and we are in the process to upgrade and start charging to our customers. Our clientele like very much safety that out automated gate provide. That is one thing you cannot buy!
